Please support the Liberia Movie Union County Tour as we will be traveling through out the 14 Counties to strengthen filmmaking there by donating any amount to either of these numbers: +231778027771 Christian Bryant or +231886774067 Mercy Jargbah via Mobile Money or Sendwave 🙏 and send screenshot of your transaction in my in box 🙏🙏🙏.
Your little gesture can help revive the entertainment sector in Liberia.
Your County needs to be represented, Monrovia is not Liberia.

You could also help in kind: Bag(s) of Rice, Gas Slip(s), Soup Kind, Canned Food, Bottled Water, Drinks, etc...
We pray that God touches your heart ❤️ to be of help to our beloved Industry.

The 16 men delegate who started the County tour journey on January 5th ended their tour in Grand Bassa, Buchanan City on January 6th after meeting with filmmakers in Lower Margibi.
This important meeting at Buchanan saw the disenchanted filmmakers reading their petition to the current Leadership for which they presented to Miss Sarafina M. Jallah for President Eddie M. Gibson.
The Filmmakers of Grand Bassa in their previous releases have vowed not to recognize the newly elected officials in as much as their disappointments is not about them.
The President elect along with his team pleaded with them for Unity, Peace and a mindset of putting the Union above self. After their interaction, the people of Grand Bassa promised that once President Eddie responds to their petition they will work with the newly elected body as their plight for the Union is genuine and productive.
We want to thank the people of Grand Bassa for taking up their busy schedules to meet us and listen to our intent for LIMU.
Let me also thank all the Elected Officials and my strong energetic and loving team for making this all important tour a success. Without you, this wouldn’t have been realized. May God bless us all and bless our Union.

Summary: On January 5th, 2024 the President Elect of the Liberia Movie Union along with his entourage(16 men delegate) traveled to Upper Margibi and Bong Counties to thank and interact with filmmakers.
On January 6th, 2024 the team met with Master Russian Junior Pewee and Mr. Ansu Sirleaf to smoke a peace pipe, after which they traveled to lower Margibi and Grand Bassa and then back to Monrovia. Peace, Unity, Decentralization, Love, Focused Mindset, Hardwork, Determination etc… amongst all are our goal. by @swagg_ceo

After a fruitful 2 hours meeting with Master Russian Junior Pewee, the team immediately drove to Lower Margibi, Harbel where they met with filmmakers, appreciating them for their efforts and support during the Electoral process. Like Upper Margibi, the Lower end welcomed the delegates and thanked them for coming back after Election to appreciate them. Filmmakers from Lower Margibi pledged their unwavering support and willingness to work for the interest of LIMU.
A fruitful and rewarding engagement it was and we are grateful to the people of Lower Margibi for accepting us 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. by @swagg_ceo

The next morning, January 6th, 2024 the team drove to Master Russian Junior Pewee at his Taekwando’s office-SKD Sport Complex. We paid a curtesy visit to Mr. Pewee and we were later joined by Mr. Ansu Sirleaf. We were well received 🙏🏽.
We discussed our differences, feelings and also a way forward. We pleaded for peace and asked Master Russian for his forgiveness for anything we might have said or done directly from us to him during meetings and he accepted. He also promised to get back to us any time soon. We expressed our interest in working along with him and all other stakeholders to better our craft. We remain grateful 😊 as we look forward to a Union were we all can happily work and reap the benefits. by @swagg_ceo

A new dawn has come
Let me take this time to thank all of you for your support, your prayers, your well wishes, pieces of advice and trust.
Yesterday I became the President Elect of the Liberia Movie Union and it’s all because of you all 👏👏👏👏👏👏.
We won 21 seats yesterday out of 22, that’s a sign of complete trust in us 🥰🥰🥰. We love you back.

To those of you who stood by the fence watching, to those who have lost interest and faith in Filmmaking, to those of you who are disenchanted and downhearted, we want to assure you that we are not insensitive to the many problems faced with, we want to say let us put our differences aside and put Liberia Movie Union above self, we are calling out to everyone to join the process, let us work together and make LIMU proud. To all our Liberian brothers and sisters living outside of Liberia be you a filmmaker or not we want to encourage you to look the direction of the Industry and help support the agendas positively, we look up to a good relationship with you all and with you we believe that we can achieve greatness.
Remember, there’s no Karim’s Movie Union, No Tomreen’s Movie Union nor a Julius Movie Union, there’s a Liberia Movie Union.
Unity is all we need.
Love you all by @swagg_ceo
