4 years ago, almost to the day, on May 21st I released and premiered my thesis film, The Reckoning. I had something to say, something I felt I could contribute at the time and I took that and ran with it. Showcased it in a theater at that. 3 showings back to back after a literal hour of troubleshooting and technical difficulties. It’s hilarious now and even then in the moment, despite my nerves and staring back at a room full of people sitting in anticipation, I took it as a sign it was worth sharing. To my amazement, and I’m beyond grateful, almost everyone that came out stayed that entire time until we got the projector working and then wanted to watch it again. It was a labor of love and just as with most films, a communal effort. Really grateful to have brought this piece to life with everyone involved from pre to post production.

Considering it’s been 4 years I really wanted to make it more publicly accessible so, at 4pm on May 23rd, The Reckoning will be re-releasing on YouTube. The link’ll be in my bio so feel free to share and leave any comments or feedback once it’s live. 🚨
