POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

At 5:58am on November 28th, Colton Murphy Waldeck entered the world and changed our lives forever. Weighing a healthy 6 lbs and 14 oz and measuring at 21 inches, he is a true miracle in the most beautiful form. We didn’t think we could love any stronger and then we met Colton. My awe and respect for his Mom and the strength she has is immeasurable. He’s the biggest blessing and a reminder to be forever thankful. Welcome home Colton! taken in Westerville, Ohio by @swaldeck24

Honored to be selected to the Stony Brook Hall Of Fame class of 2023! Playing 4 years at Stony Brook under the leadership of Rick Sowell was an unforgettable period of my life. The bond of the team, the lessons learned and the fun will always be more important than the games won or lost. Although getting to the quarter finals and playing at home was incredible. I’m looking forward to the ceremony and homecoming in October. Go Wolves!! taken in Stony Brook University by @swaldeck24

Colton’s first lacrosse stick. Made by the Haudenonsaunne people on the Tuscarora Nation by Wooden Lacrosse. A gift that will last a life time. Thank you to the Burns Family!

The Creator’s Game

“To the Haudenosaunee, lacrosse is a gift from the Creator. We play for his enjoyment and to uplift the spirits of our people. Wooden lacrosse sticks are made from a living tree. It is believed to contain its own spirit from the tree, and this enhances the stick handlers‘s ability, if used with respect. It also keeps the player connected to our Mother Earth. For this reason, Haudenosaunee players prefer to use their wooden sticks.
Many Haudenosaunee infants still receive a tiny wooden stick when they are born. At the end of their journey, men are often buried with them when they pass away back to the Creator’s land.” by @swaldeck24

10/10 recommend going back to where you got married to celebrate 10 years. The most perfect getaway we needed. Endless ocean breeze, seclusion, sunrises, beach walks, relaxation. Lucky to celebrate in the most beautiful place with my best friend ♥️ 🇲🇽 🥂 taken in Isla Mujeres by @swaldeck24
