The XJS-R6 Manual Coupe.

This here is pretty special, the XJS body has had a heart transplant using the Supercharged AJ16 JXR6 engine along with a manual conversion. Designed, welded and fitted in house is a custom SR exhaust which sounds absolutely fantastic. The brakes have been upgraded using Aston Martin DB7 Brembo Brakes and EBC discs paired with 20” BBS Detroit wheels. AVO GTZ adjustable suspension and lowering springs to help with performance whilst keeping the ride silky smooth.

It truly is one of a kind, the car turns heads wherever it goes and conversions with passers by is a common occurrence. Whilst shooting this video people of all ages and backgrounds stood to admire it, asking questions about what it is, the engine, the noise and so much more. Cars are never just a piece of metal, they are a story to be shared.

We carried out a full vehicle health check on this Jaguar Super V8. We investigated a reported brake judder, finding excessive runout from both front hubs. Both hubs were replaced, with the discs and pads carefully checked at multiple positions to ensure everything was running within specification before being fitted. We also replaced the castor arm bushes with Powerflex items, cleaned up the wheel mating surfaces and finished by bedding the brakes in, confirming the judder had been completely eliminated.

While it was here, we also carried out a full gearbox service. The original sump bolts were heavily corroded and rounded during removal, so the sump and all 21 bolts were replaced.

The car then received an A Service, including an internal engine clean, fresh engine oil and filter, screenwash and fuel treatment, before moving on to the performance work.

Stage 1 pulley, filters and mapping completed, bringing the car up to date mechanically and giving it the performance upgrade it came in for - 450bhp💨

Knockhill was filled with wide views and tight racing. We made the 420 mile journey to the most northern racetrack in the UK for the penultimate round of the Jaguar Championship. This is the first time Knockhill has done a day into night event so it was great to be a part of the moment.

We will be covering the weekend in an upcoming YouTube video, but for now here’s a short rundown of Saturday. Qualifying – Jack qualified P1 however span coming into a yellow flag zone therefore started from the back of the grid with a 10 second grid penalty for race 1. Tom qualified 2nd within a second of Jack and with no disqualification ended up taking Jacks spot and started P1.

Knockhill is a truly brilliant circuit, tight technical corners with some great straights and massive elevation changes! Race 1 – Everyone keeping their eyes on the first few corners. Whilst the first corner was trouble free, the bottom of this hill saw a collision with a driver or 2 running of into the gravel, luckily the brothers managed to avoid the trouble. After a great race Tom came home P1 with jack finishing P3 after starting P12, another cracking drive.

Race 2 after the ball drop Jack started from P1 and Tom from P4. With some rain fall just before the race it was going to make for some great viewing. Lap 1, by the end of the bottom of the hill Tom had made his way up into P2 and the fun began. Jack and Tom began running off into the distance, chasing each other, pushing each other at every apex and corner exit. The next 19 laps were a blur, Jack finished P1 with fastest lap and Tom in P2.

A relatively trouble free day on a brilliant circuit, smiles from ear to ear not only from drivers but spectators as well. Day moved into night and the team perched up around the circuit for the night racing to begin. We will be back Knockhill.

This supercharged 3.0 petrol XE came to us after having sports cats from a previous company fail 3 times. After seeing the quality our work and products online he didn’t hesitate to book in. When seeing his exhaust setup we recommended some potential changes which may be made in the future to completely suit his needs, for now we swapped out his current set of sports cats for our 3.0 supercharged XE system that incorporates the G-Sport by GESI 300 cell sports cats. Designed, fabricated and welded in house using our new R-Tech welder. New sports cats fitted and the car has got a deeper, less raspy tone exactly what the customer was looking for😮‍💨

By now you know the car, Anthony’s 600bhp XFR-S, it was with us at Castle Combe for the JEC Track day and put in over 60 laps! Now, Anthony is taking the car away to Europe on Sunday and will be over there for a month. We completed a service on the vehicle post track day and gave it a full health check to make sure he was all good to go with his intercontinental adventures. We found 0 issues and with a fresh service plenty more miles will be put into the car over the next month! Have a great time Anthony💨

There’s something about an XJ40 that just gets better with age.

This 1995 3.2 Gold is a particularly lovely example, finished in Flamenco Red Metallic with an Oatmeal/Biscuit leather interior and showing just 43,000 miles.

Garage stored, beautifully preserved inside and out, and from the final year of XJ40 production, it’s got all the things we love about these cars — classic Jaguar proportions, plenty of luxury and that wonderfully old-school feel behind the wheel.
