Just like the rays of the sun shine equally on all things, the Divine is present in everything and at all times, however, in the places of pilgrimage the presence of Divinity can be felt more deeply.

God fully manifests in the dwelling places of saints, due to their complete surrender, and in the holy places where millions of people have come with Faith and Love, performing unbroken rituals for millennia.

These mystical spaces are imprinted with unconditional Love, and when we enter into them, we are reminded of our own inner divinity and relationship with God.

If you have an opportunity to take part in a pilgrimage, it is a life changing experience that helps bring clarity to one’s true purpose.

Upcoming pilgrimages & retreats with Swami Chidananda:

March 2027 -> Himalayan Mountains | India
June 2027 -> Mary Magdalena Caves | South France

Bhagavad Gita Ch3v26. The wise should not disturb the minds of the ignorant who are attached to material gratification. Instead by performing one’s dharma (duty) with devotion, one should inspire others to do likewise.

Insight: This verse reminds us not to waste our energy trying to persuade others to walk the spiritual path. When a person’s mind is absorbed in the pursuit of worldly pleasures and external gratification, no amount of advice or instruction is likely to bring about lasting change. Instead, our focus should be on fulfilling our own dharma—our duties and responsibilities—with sincerity, detachment, and as an offering to God.

True spiritual influence comes not from preaching, but from personal transformation. When we embody the values we seek to share, our actions naturally inspire others. In this way, we can uplift those around us without needing to speak a single word.

Upcoming offerings w/ Swami:

- South France Pilgrimage - June 26-30 (full)

- India Pilgrimage - Oct 25 - November (full)

- Himalayan Pilgrimage - March 14 - 23 (applications open)

Often we want the world to be ‘Perfect,’ and in that perfection we believe we can feel the Love of God.

But this world will never be externally perfect, it is a world of duality. Spirituality is not making the outer world but our inner world perfect. This is done by developing a relationship with the Divine internally.

My Guru speaks about the metaphor of a hurricane, where the outer rim of the hurricane is chaos and destruction, while the inner eye is stillness. In that same way the only choice we have is where we choose to place our consciousness - in the chaos of the world, or the inner cave of the heart where Divinity resides 🌪️🌪️🌪️

While prayer is often dismissed as dogmatic or suited only for the less intellectual, when practiced with proper guidance and technique, it can have a profound impact on our lives. Throughout history, prayer has been embraced by some of the greatest mystical figures—not as blind belief, but as a simple yet powerful means of connecting with the Divine and opening ourselves to grace.

True prayer holds two essential intentions: first, to feel the love of the Divine; and second, to accept the will of the Divine. One of the simplest ways to align with these intentions is through a daily mantra practice—something you can choose to incorporate into your life in 2026 by learning the mantra and method through the link in bio.

The path of Bhakti (devotion) is unique among spiritual traditions in its emphasis on relationship and grace. A pure relationship of love with that which pervades all things brings a deep sweetness to the heart and creates the conditions for grace to flow into our lives. It is this enveloping grace that ultimately dissolves the final limitations—those that cannot be overcome by effort or intellect alone.

Upcoming events with Swami:

Jan 2026 - Mysore, India Bhagavad Gita Classes
March 2026 - Vrindavan, India Holi Pilgrimage
June 2026 - Guatemala, Lake Atitlan Retreat

The Bhagavad Gita is a reminder to not run away from our Dharma (duty) but to embrace it fully without fear 🏹

When we perform our duty without attachment to the results and offer it to the Divine, then we can truly find meaning and purpose in our life ❤️

humility vs. humiliation

There are two paths we can choose to walk. One is the path of humiliation—the path of the ego—where we overanalyze and judge all of our actions. In this state, we live with constant anxiety and fear about what others might think of us.

The other is the path of humility—the path of the heart—where every action becomes a service to God, an opportunity to love and be loved. This can only be experienced when we are willing to let go of our judgments about how others perceive us and how we perceive others.
