‘Revelation of the Black Rose’

A recap from our Samhain ritual theater offering

🖤🌹🔥🌹🖤

Presented by myself, @sistarswan and @isis_indriya
Produced by @academy.of.oraclearts and SheRose

In this great reunion of the veiled ones
lantern bearers, nectar makers
in the velvet womb of Venus
we return in the thinning veils
to feast and bear witness
to this ceremony

A liberation spell for
the forgotten elementals
A resurrection of the fallen king
who sacrifices himself
at the feet of the goddess
to become anointed as
a protector of the sacred

The knight is reborn,
the Morrigan flies
The temple petals
of the Black Rose reveal
the Ruby flame
at the center of everything

The sands of ages past
Fall through my fingertips
I spread my wings, snd soar
Upon the winds of Goddess kiss
I exalt in ecstasy
With a smile on my lips
I unearth sacred treasure
In the spiral of my hips
I undulate in remembrance
Of the ancient temple rites
When we priestesses would dance
Through the dark of new moon night
Weaving embodied magic
Into the fabric of reality
In communion with Auset
We elevated frequency
And here we are again
The Divine Feminine
Dancing in our codes of light
The modern Magdalene
Unapologetically we move
As a force of Goddess grace
We birth bliss through our bodies
We hold and the tend the sacred space…
The space within our wombs
The space beneath the veils
The space of New Earth Temples
The space where LOVE PREVAILS

My collab magic with @maryastark has been a huge part of my life these last few years. Our artistic alchemy and beautiful friendship mean so much. Love you girl!

We are both oracular artists, and weaving together has been nourishing & fulfilling.

This is a purely improvised dance to an unreleased track. You’re all in for a TREAT when it drops!

In this dance, I felt myself embodying the feminine phases integrated into ONE. The Crone, blood gatekeeper of the mysteries, the ripe Mother, and the budding Maiden, moving through the cycles of womanhood, emptying, emptying, emptying, to become a more available channel & conduit.

My studies of Middle Eastern and classical Indian dance profoundly inform my style, but I don’t consider myself a “fusion dancer.” I am just ME, transmitting my prayer.

I experience these forms not simply as styles to present, but as technologies that prepare the body as a vessel for transmission while also BECOMING the transmission themselves.

They cultivate, amplify, circulate, and direct energy, tracing patterns through the body and space, carrying codes of creation and divine intelligence.

I’ve performed these traditions in their own right, and perhaps will again. But these days, I’m devoted to bringing forward my own unique prayer ray as a ritual artist, aligned with my intentions and the muses moving through me.

Sufi spinning, Indian temple dance, and the spirals, circles, waves, and vibrations within bellydance, Polynesian, Latin, and African dance traditions.

THIS, to me, is part of what makes dance SACRED. Not simply the outer form, but what it cultivates, opens, and activates within us. What it allows us to embody and transmit.

If you’re called to open your oracle, refine your craft, and deepen your embodied alchemy through sacred dance or voice, with Marya or me, ask us for the links to these upcoming online offerings we are each hosting.

On Summer Solstice, @maryastark and I co-facilitated The Crimson River Ceremony @earthdaughtersfestival We offered a ritual arts immersion to guide a group of women into the center of the experience, to anchor this great prayer for the community and offer songs & dances in honor of our shared bloodline.

22 women stepped into service for this grand community ritual.

We connected through the red thread and honored our shared lineage.

We acknowledged, through a sacred mudra circle dance, the 5 Blood Gates of Womanhood.

We bore beautiful brass bowls in reverence, pouring our pomegranate juice blood offerings for restoring the wells of our shared human wellness.

We initiated these women into their athames (ritual daggers), which we used as instruments for directing our prayers penetratively into the matrix of life and coming into alignment with the reality we want to live in: one that honors our bodies, our blood, our wombs, women, the Earth, our cycles & changes.

We danced as red-clad dakinis, tracing living geometries through space with our blades. Slicing away what is ready to die & transform.

@artofloving embodied The Vulture, feeding on the remains of all we were letting go.

@drumtemple held down the rhythm, amplifying the prayer!

A new Power Love Wisdom song was collaboratively channeled and brought to gorgeous fruition by Marya, serving as the culmination of the embodiment ritual.

Thank you Earth Daughters for holding the space. To Marya, for bringing such a powerful voice and for being such a deeply harmonious JOY to collab with.

It is the truest blessing to guide women in stepping fully up and in as embodied ritualists & sacred dancers, opening, offering and outpouring as an act of devotion.

If you are called to the ritual embodiment path, check out my upcoming:

Dancing open The Stonehenge Stargate at full moon rise!

Precious moments etched into the timelines backward and forward.

The stones spoke to us....”you presence here is enough”

Our beautiful Mother Planet has chakra points just like us, places of amplified energetics.

Our ancestors knew.

When we offer our prayers and dance and loving intention in these places it vitalizes the entire grid of our planet. It raises vibration.

This is one of the most expansive potentials of the dance priestess.

To get our bodies in these places of power, to be there in movement & love and grid light through our intentional dance.

Places like Stonehenge are obviously pretty epic andI I feel blessed the dance of life has opened up these opportunities. But I’ve found the places of power in all places I’ve ever lived. It could be the backyard creek, the private and secluded piece of shoreline, the huge old tree in the neighbor park.

What’s important is showing up, centering in devotion and making the offering.

I’m getting ready love to share much about The Priestess Dance Path and its three currents of catharsis

What does it mean to dance the devotional path, not only for ourselves, but as an offering to the Earth and the greater field of life?

How does dance alchemy actually occur?

What does it really mean to cultivate the body as an instrument and your dance as a true ritual?

I have lived inside these inquiries for my whole life in an intimate exploration of movement, dance and art as a spiritual practice.

On the full moon weekend of September 26th and 27th I am excited to be hosting an online training and embodiment ceremony to share and illuminate about the gorgeous and rich path of the dancing priestess and ritual embodiment artist......

Training & Embodiment Ceremony
Sept 26th & 27th Online Via Zoom

If you are curious about the way of the present day priestess dancer, if you know your dance holds something MORE, if you feel called to truly become the vessel then this will be an inspiring and illuminating experience for you.

Comment 🌀Priestess Dance and I will get you all the details.

I am so excited about this offering! I’ve had so much coming through since I’ve been back from Avalon and I’m so eager to gather and share!

Priestesses on the Path (literally) :)
✨

The Priestess Path is full of twists and turns, rocky bumps, and requires constant radical self-honesty and fuckin’ SURRENDER!

It doesn’t look the same for everyone, and it requires a level of devotion that is my perspective is quite rare.

And… It is FULL of incredible women, deep vulnerable connection, and a profoundly rich and rewarding level of sisterhood that I also feel is rare!

So grateful to walk ✨and DANCE ✨this path alongside so many epic sisters!

I’m excited to be interviewed by Water Priestess @annwynavalon tomorrow, Full Moon Friday at 8:00 AM Pacific, about the Priestess Dance Path and my personal experience living inside my world of ritual art, mythic embodiment and intentional dance.

Let me know if you’re interested in tuning in and I’ll get you the links! If you can’t make it live, the recording will be available for 48 hours.
