Coming soon!🌟 We’ve successfully recorded a spectacular clarinet concerto composed by Liam Cummins, a recipient of the First Music commission program at the New York Youth Symphony. The session was inspiring, filled with artistry, collaboration and an exhilarating experience bringing a brand-new clarinet work to life! Bravo to clarinetist Bixby Kennedy, whose performance was nothing short of extraordinary and conductor Andrew Kim for leading the orchestra with such clarity, energy, and vision. Special thanks to recording engineer Andreas Meyer for capturing every nuance of this special moment, and to the DiMenna Center for providing such a beautiful space for the session. We can’t wait to share it with you!🎊 @nyyouthsymphony @liamcomposer @bixbykennedy @j_andrewkim @musicasolis @swanstudiosnyc taken in The DiMenna Center for Classical Music by @swanstudiosnyc

An offering of Brahms—in supplication, and in hope… I am grateful for the talented team who made this possible, including Andreas Meyer for recording and producing three programs’ worth of music by Bach, Brett Dean, Bach/Dean, Brahms, Chopin, Janáček, Patricia Kopatchinskaya, Kurtág, Tessa Lark, The Schumanns, Schubert, and Vasks. Looking much forward to releasing a recording of these colorful voices in time, and to the gift of sharing them with you. 💙❤️‍🩹 @tessalark @patkopviolin @swanstudiosnyc @dolbyatmosmusic by @swanstudiosnyc

✨ I’m over the moon—Hommages was just featured on @bellisariosonic1 ‘s YouTube channel!✨ Hearing so much of the album shared so thoughtfully and enthusiastically was such a fabulous gift. This project means the world to me, and I’m deeply grateful to have created it with composer Anthony Joseph Lanman (@anthonylanman) and producer/engineer Andreas Meyer (@swanstudiosnyc ), who also released it on his label. 💙 Seeing Tony’s music reaching new audiences in this way makes my heart very happy!! Thank you, Matthew, for celebrating it! 🙏 🎶 Full episode is on YouTube—link in bio. •Hommages •Contemporary Music • Piano Love • New Music by @swanstudiosnyc

What if you could hear a painting? Or feel the echo of someone else’s memory in sound? HOMMAGES began as a collection of solo piano pieces, each one honoring a visionary thinker, artist, or idea. It became a journey—through imagination, grief, rebellion, curiosity, and joy. These first 26 reels are an invitation into that world giving backstories, observations, and experiences. And… 🎨 Abstract soundscapes. ⚡ Sonic collisions. 🕯 Moments of reflection. I’ve loved crafting these—sharing stories, collaborating with the composer Anthony Joseph Lanman 🖊️ and pushing past my own fears about how we present serious art in a fast-moving world. Swipe through. Explore. Listen. Feel. 🎧 Listen to HOMMAGES on your favorite streaming platform. On Instagram, look for behind the scenes stories from philosophies to premieres. And, I’d love it if you commented, shared, saved, or liked these posts!
