What a day. @pashandburn was so much more than a race — it was a reunion, a celebration, and a reminder of why this community means everything. 🧡

Huge gratitude to @powdertools and @team_sswsc for putting on such a special event. Todd and Adam laced up their boards and joined the fun, and yes — Todd served up a sausage sampler that absolutely slapped. 🍖🏔️

More than anything, it was an honor to be part of an event that raises money for @routtcountysar and @tetonsearchandrescue in Pash’s name. The stoke was real, the weather was perfect, and the people made it unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone who came out and kept the spirit alive. This is what it’s all about. ❤️

Sketchy gully day 🫠
Last Saturday we finally went for a N-W gully we’d been waiting to fill in with enough snow to ski. After 15 cm overnight it looked like the time to go for it.
A communication mistake made me send ski debris down while my friend Marc was still in the gully. Luckily nothing happened, but it was a good reminder that mistakes in the mountains can have serious consequences.
Having a clear plan before dropping in and good communication between partners is essential.
After the scare I decided to ski it carefully. We’ll come back for a full-speed lap when the snowpack is more stable.
