A true honor to be a part of this year’s @beardfoundation awards in Chicago. ❤️

It was special to be there representing beer—a beverage that rarely gets a seat at the fine dining table.

And even cooler to be one of two businesses from Door County at the awards! There are exceptional things happening all over the country—even in the smallest pockets of America.

I’d like to thank our entire team—our nomination is a testament to the hard work of you all.

A truly inspiring experience all around. Congrats to everyone that was recognized.

Oh, and @beardfoundation, can we get some beer at the after party next year?! 😉

This weekend, we say goodbye to our Head Baker, Jackie Thelen. ❤️

It’s hard to put into words everything that Jackie has done for Sway.

Jackie has been with us since day 1. She started slinging beers in our beer garden before we ever had a taproom or bakery. She then became our first full-time employee and spearheaded a bakery within our brewery—a bakery that gained an avid following and life of its own.

Over the last four seasons, Jackie’s hands have touched nearly every pastry you have enjoyed from Sway. Nearly 70,000 pastries.

Some employees’ presence, vision, and work ethic shape your business. They allow you to achieve things that wouldn’t have been possible without them. They make you a better business owner. Jackie was one of those people.

Jackie, thank you for going down this journey with us. Thank you for all the hard work, loyalty, and great memories over these 4+ years.

We wish her nothing but the best in her next chapter in life.

Our morning bakery will continue operating through the end of the month, before taking a break for the remainder of the year.

Jackie will be hanging out at the taproom Sunday around 3pm—for anyone that would like to join us for a farewell beer. by @swaybeer

THANK YOU to everyone who celebrated with us on Saturday at Oktoberfest 2026.

A special thanks to our entire team, who rolled with the punches & worked their butts off this weekend.

Although the official party is over, Festbier & Märzen are still flowing from our side-pull faucets and available in cans to-go. We’ll continue offering liter pours of these beers to celebrate the season.

Our Oktoberfest flag will also continue to fly while these beers are still available. If you see the flag, head in for a pour of Oktoberfest beer.

We love you all. ❤️

And a final thanks to @apeete23 for many of these photos. 📸
