yall🥹long caption alert🚨‼️

it’s not often that you get the opportunity to meet someone that you have deeply admired for years over the internet. i literally have been watching @jacejeff music arrangement videos since Vine days when he was known as #jehreeus (~2014)

i spent countless hours as a teenager with my friends studying artists like jace jeff, jacob collier, snarky puppy, etc. these artists have inspired me to think outside of the box and take risks with different music sounds. after taking music theory in high school, i was able to learn how to compose & arrange my own music in musescore which translated extremely well for acapella arrangements in noteflight during college.

fast forward to december last year, i saw him walk into one of @thecommunityatl events and just KNEW i had to introduce myself to him!! afterwards, i hopped into one of his spontaneous IG lives and asked if i could email some of me and @swe.theband music for him to critique. then he happened to go live yesterday & reviewed it on the spot!! this is his reaction to Holy by SWé & Lyd💿

@jacejeff - thank you so so much for giving your honest feedback on my music and being one of the reasons I ever wanted to put music out in the first place‼️your arrangements will forever be etched in my mind as a reminder to keep stretching as a musician, singer, songwriter, and producer (which you are also all 4🙌🏾). your reaction meant the world to 14 year old me💐so thank you🙂‍↕️ by @swe.theband
