Lynn Strait of Snot. 2024 Tribute. 26 years ago today Lynn and his dog Dobbs passed away in a car accident near Santa Barbara, CA. Snot is a Southern California 90s band that paved the way for so many bands in the nu-metal, punk rock, and metal “genres.” It’s not too often a group comes together and effortlessly blends punk rock, metal, hip-hop, funk, and jazz. While Lynn’s time was cut short, and @snotband was only able to put out one album, “Get Some,” he and the band are remembered fondly and adored by fans all over the world decades later. Strait up. — I put this edit together based on sources that were available to me online. All main sources are credited at the end of this video and tagged on this post. I’ve been meaning to do something like this for a really long time, unfortunately, interviews about Lynn are limited, and I’m looking forward to a proper documentary coming out someday. Sublime’s Bradley Nowell was As Key As It Gets. 28 years ago today, May 25th, 1996, the world tragically said goodbye to a man who changed the world in just 28 years and 3 months of life. As it stands today, #JakobNowell, son of #BradleyNowell, fills his father’s #Sublime shoes with bandmates Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson.
