Wow. A whole 17 year old🥺
Happy birthday son. I love you so much. I’m so proud of the young man you’re growing into. From getting your License, first car, first job on top of being an honor student, athlete, and now a senior. Not sure how we got from first steps to all of this but I’m glad God chose me to be your mom. Here’s to a birthday weekend you’ll remember forever, in the best way possible 🥳🥳 @elileabough_

The lyrics to this song have resonated with me for months. 😭 This moment seems so surreal. To pray, be obedient, WAIT & learn lessons when all I wanted was my prayers to be answered on the spot were all worth it in the end. God is truly an exceedingly and abundantly God. Everything I was praying for in a job He surpassed, even things I didn’t even think of like a full gym & rooftop garden knowing I love flowers, the sun & working out when I had to cancel my gym membership. He’s in all the little details . There are no words really . Just gratitude & happy tears🥺💕 by @sweekiwi

My video cut off but my friend didn’t have to show up like that for me. It pays to be a good person and it absolutely pays when you pray for who God allows in your life. I’m me because of so many great people around me.

Survival mode was activated and while kids don’t always understand adult storms, they definitely feel them! Motherhood doesn’t pause when life falls apart.
You just learn to carry both.

Every other Tuesday, we show up.

We pray over the food. We serve the meal. We walk beside them — literally — from their front doors to ours. And somewhere in between the conversations and the coloring pages, something shifts.

One of our kids colored a picture that said “I am a masterpiece.”

She is. They all are. And they deserve a space that reminds them of that — consistently, unconditionally, every single time.

*LONG POST* I’ve been laid off for five months and just KNEW I had gotten this one job that seemed to check everything off after multiple interviews, meeting director etc. so in anticipation, I scheduled a text to my girls to celebrate. DIDNT GET THE JOB bc they wanted me to drop my comp request , so I cancelled the text and thought that was it. Fast forward to the date I had the text scheduled, it still sent on my end so I quickly responded to my friends letting them know it was in error. Whole time, they never even received the text !! Well, slide left to see how supportive they are because we just celebrated being alive, Sisterhood and believing in what God will do.

Even though God hasn’t “done the thing” for me, He’s still God. He knows the plans , I’m just here😩

Get you some real ass supportive friends that ride through whatever. So grateful that even when life doesn’t go as planned, whether I’m up or down, I know who I can call. Thanks for yalls prayers , check ins, walk + talks, & lunch dates.. so grateful for the love and encouragement from my girlssss 🥺🫶🏾💕
