Successful week of Black Rhino Capture and Relocation apart of the Black Rhino Range Expansion Project (BREP)This rhino is sedated and safely airlifted out of the bush and up to the the command post where we remove the horns, take DNA samples, place trackers, collect fecal sample, take measurements, and ear notch for identification purposes, then woken up and loaded into a crate for transport.Go check out @wwfblackrhinoproject and learn how you can help save these chubby unicorns as well. If we don’t do something now, our great great grandchildren will not know what these animals are.
