Moving postcards, mom edition 🤍

Okinawa through my lens, but really, through his childhood and mine.

Playing with the doggies we met along the way, football wherever we could find a patch of space, making Japanese friends at a playground with conversations that somehow worked despite being made up of mostly “yes yes”, “ok ok” and a whole lot of enthusiasm 🤭

And for myself, stopping amidst the noise to listen to the waves or simply people-watching and taking it all in.

Not exactly the moments you’d find in a travel guide, but somehow they’re the ones I know I’ll remember most 🥲🫶🏻 taken in Okinawa, Japan by @sweetambush

4/4:📍Buffalo & Canada 🇨🇦 The last leg of our 3-week road trip! Made snow angels in Buffalo, crossed the border to see Niagara Falls, went go-karting, headed to Toronto, and wrapped it all up with the best family time 🫶🏻

Also, now we know who Alex’s hero is 🤣 Had to write down what he said, too cute not to remember 🤭 taken in Canada by @sweetambush

2/4:📍Cali to Nevada! Loved seeing how the views changed along the way. Half-dome at Yosemite to giant Sequoia trees and the red rock canyon in Vegas 🏞️🪾🏜️😌

1/4: Finally posting our long-overdue USA road trip 🇺🇸 🚗.📍San Francisco. Jet lag had us up before sunrise, so we found IHOP 🥞, wandered empty streets, and watched the city wake up.
