Congrats Oluseyi + Inya ❤️💕

I was reviewing my notes from my consultation last year with this couple and they wanted something with movement and texture. Something unique, yet personal.

They wanted art.
I was more than happy to deliver.

I spent so much of my childhood painting, drawing, and creating pottery and art pieces. I doodled in my notebooks and took every available art class through high school. It’s come full circle now, still sculpting but now instead of clay it’s with fondant and buttercream. ❤️

My name is Bunmi and I’m the owner of Sweet boom bakery!

I started making cakes with the goal of making my daughter’s birthday cakes, but it quickly grew into a space where I can create art that just so happens to be edible.

I have an amazing husband and 2 sweet girls 💕💕

I thought becoming a mom meant I couldn’t have dreams for myself, but Sweet Boom Bakery was birthed out of my motherhood.

I grew up painting and sculpting and as much as I was a nerd in school, art was one of my favorite classes.

My faith in Jesus keeps me grounded and humbled.

I’m a pharmacist by day, baker by night.

My favorite cake flavor is all of them lol, but really lemon blueberry or chocolate currently has me in love.

Chicago born, Nola raised (XU💛), DFW living

If I wasn’t making cakes, or a pharmacist… I’d probably be a model 🤣🤣 (Tyra said I’m too short though lol)
