Afternoon walk through @springspreserve I spotted a road runner and some quails in the park but they were too fast for my camera. #theotherlasvegas #botanicalgardens #mojavedesert #lovewhereyouwork by @sweetlozey

I went to Flamingo Gardens to see the Flamingos, but the peacocks really stole the show. @flamingogardens #flamingogardens #florida #peacocks #sunshinestateofmind #lovewhereyouwork by @sweetlozey

Saturday was my 4 year travel anniversary. 4 years from the day that I walked into a hospital in New Mexico, muttering “I can endure anything for 13 weeks” under my breath. I planned on posting something Saturday but I was too busy exploring the ruins of a mid-19th century fort built on top of a coral reef in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.

4 years is 15 hospitals in 11 states. 10 times that I’ve quit but still had a job. 5 cross country trips. 36 national parks. Over 70,000 miles of adventures.

I don’t know what the future holds, but hopefully it’s more adventures, more epic sunsets and more exploring beautiful places. #traveler #travelsocialworker #drytortugas #sunshinestateofmind #lovewhereyouwork by @sweetlozey

Found another @greetingstour tour mural at Uncle Tony’s Donut Shop (it’s a record store) in Orlando. I think is number 14 for me. #greetingsfrom #sunshinestateofmind #traveler #lovewhereyouwork #intheshadowofthemouse by @sweetlozey
