Finally got a girls day at the pool. We even braved the water slide and survived 😂 Such a fun day with these ladies followed by a delicious dinner at Michelle’s (thanks Gary for grilling and Kirk for bringing up our food). First USAPL Nationals meet completed and I’m still processing the experience. I came into this day with a lot of nervousness and doubt but walked away with confidence and the fire to push harder. I went 9/9 and a huge win for me was all white lights on squat, which has never happened.

Huge thanks to my coach @weskeith for being with me every step of the way. Your support and guidance made this the best experience, can’t thank you enough ❤️ Thanks to @suyigeorge for pushing me to get back to powerlifting and sign up for this meet. So happy we finally got to do this together. Appreciate @tatyagummybears and daughter Elise for coming to lend their support and posting videos, loved that you were here! Thanks to my gym daughter @kim.martens25 for her unwavering support, love you kid❤️ Thanks to my family and my sweet coworkers for watching and supporting me from Iowa, that was awesome🥰 To all the @22ndstbarbell peeps who were so encouraging and supportive, you guys are the best gym family around❤️❤️

Nurses Week 2026….When I graduated from high school, I really wasn’t sure what career I was interested in. I ended up leaving college after 2 years and tried to figure it out. I got a job at the hospital as a housekeeper, then a pharmacy technician and then a good friend suggested I consider becoming a nurse, he thought I’d make a great one. I got accepted into nursing school and realized it’s exactly where I belonged 👩‍⚕️27 years later, I’m still here doing what I love. While nursing has changed a lot over the years and is harder than ever, I still can’t imagine doing anything else❤️ Happy Nurses Week to all the fabulous, amazing, passionate, caring, professional nurses I have had the privilege to work with through the years.

Back after a few years off the platform and I'm happy to have qualified for Masters Nationals. Squats didn't exactly go as planned, but I secured the total I needed. Plenty of work ahead before June, but I'm excited for the opportunity to compete.
Squat: 102.5 kg
Bench: 92.5 kg
Deadlift: 132.5 kg
Total: 327.5
