Welcome 🤗 I’m Joy from Sweets with Joy.
I work full time, I’m a mom, wife, dog mom, aunt, sister, & autism/ neurodivergent advocate & of course #HomeBaker
I got the urge to bake when we lived in our tiny Miami apartment with no oven, watching the #GBBO. I was obsessed!
I promised myself that when I moved to a place with an actual oven I would start baking & that’s exactly what I did.
In 2018 I started baking for family and friends, I never thought of selling my bakes.
But then we got the news about our daughter, she was diagnosed with #Autism at 2yrs old. A new obsession that changed my life & so I made a new promise…
To leave my 9/5 & be there for our daughter full time to meet her needs. And to create a community, a support system for my daughter to thrive & reach her greatest potential.
Here we are, 5 years later @sweets.withjoy is born & this journey has done nothing but bring blessings to my family which shows me that we are on the right track & anything is possible!

@sweets.withjoy I love birthdays but I’m here to spread the love for any occasion.
Anything from Custom Cakes & cookies, to muffins for your favorite teacher.
