❤ visiting coffee houses while traveling. I seek out unique, quirky, independently owned coffee shops. I love cooking, baking & charcuterie too!

I had the best time putting this grazing table together last night! This was for a D-9 celebration and for a Howard University student who is now a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,Inc.

If you are hosting an event and need a spread like this please feel free to DM me!

My neighbor blessed us with a TON of pears, so I decided to try “real canning” for the first time! 🍐🙌🏾

I watched my grandmother do this many times growing up, and I thought, “I can do this!” So, I gave it a try—and they turned out SO good! 🥰

There’s something special about learning skills that were passed down through generations. ❤️

Now, I’m looking forward to canning even more fruits and vegetables. Who knows…this might be the beginning of a whole new hobby! 🫙🌱🍑🥒

Gardening is not for the faint of heart! 🌱 It takes hard work, patience, and plenty of time. But honestly, the time is good for me because it forces me to pause, slow down, and reflect. There’s something special about being outside, working with my hands, and simply enjoying the process. 💚

And it’s even better when I have someone to help me process the harvest! 🙌🏽 It creates built-in quality time with loved w❤️

We’re preparing to make homemade Stevia Powder! 🌿

Once the leaves have been cleaned and dehydrated, they’ll be placed in a coffee grinder or food processor until they reach a fine powder consistency. We’ll store the powder in an airtight glass jar and use it to naturally sweeten teas, oatmeal, and more.

There’s something so rewarding about growing, harvesting, and preparing what you can right at home. 🌱✨

You have probably heard me say how I feel about food waste so pickling is a good way to preserve your vegetables. So here you see radishes, eggplant , and various pickles. The upside down jar is ranch pickles. #eggplants #pickles #radishes #foodwaste taken in Maryland by @sweetsations

Happy Sunday, coffee lovers! ☕️✨ I’ll admit it—I’m a total coffee snob. 😂 So when a coffee delivers bold flavor and a smooth finish, it gets my attention! #NESCAFÉIntense hits different in the best way. Rich, bold, smooth…basically, my kind of coffee. ☕️🤎

Brown Sugar Oat milk Latte for the win! CIVIC is a new coffee and wine bar located in Capitol Hill-DC. The atmosphere is very chill. A great place to #coffice and meet up with friends.
My latte was absolutely amazing! Quite honestly one of the best I’ve had!
Big Shout out to this woman owned establishment 🙌
