This trip was life changing for me. I can't even put into words what it meant to me. I almost didn't go bc of fear of failing. But my sweet husband said "you are going on this trip bc it's the opportunity of a lifetime". I would have missed out on so much if I didn't go into "uncharted territory"! We can accomplish so much if rely on God and change our mindset.

CONGRATULATIONS to Boonie LaTanya Thornhill who presented her capstone this week- a culmination of 2 years in the David J. and Kathryn Cole BRHTE Leadership Academy at MUSC. Tanya drew on her lived experience as an AYA cancer patient at Hollings Cancer Center and presented “AYA Connect: A Strategic Framework For Young Adult Cancer Navigation at Hollings Cancer Center.” We are so proud of her hard work in this program and her desire to improve experiences and outcomes for AYAs treated at MUSC.
