We love when clients tell us they’re spending more time at home since a project wrapped. Hosting more often, using a room they once walked past, finally feeling settled. That’s the kind of difference we design for. by @swellhouseco

A well-designed kitchen makes hosting feel a little less like work. You can reach what you need, stay part of the conversation, and enjoy having people over without wishing everyone would move. There’s a lot of careful planning behind that kind of ease, and we love being part of making it happen! by @swellhouseco

A full house, familiar faces, and a warm welcome to our new downtown space. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it feel like home🤎 by @swellhouseco

Warm wood, beautifully veined stone, and a little pattern make this bathroom feel full of character. We love a small room that gives you a reason to linger!

Years from now, we hope this is the house everyone still wants to come back to.

The kids will be taller. There will be a few more chairs around the table. Someone will make the same breakfast they make every visit, and everyone will have a favorite place to sit.

We think about that future when we design. How a home can welcome the life you have now and grow with the people you love.

What a lovely thing to help create!

There are a lot of decisions behind every space we design, but choosing to work together was an easy one! Beautiful homes, a shared love of the details, and plenty of laughing along the way ☺️ by @swellhouseco

Soft green cabinetry, warm brass, and stone that catches the light make a lovely setting for an evening at home. Pull up a stool, pour something good, and keep whoever’s cooking company. by @swellhouseco

Somewhere between “what do you think of this?” and “should we get coffee?” we get a whole lot done 🤎 by @swellhouseco

One day, the samples will be cleared off the table, the last box will be unpacked, and you’ll be settling into the home you spent so long imagining. Your favorite books will be on the shelves, friends will be coming through the door, and an ordinary evening will feel a little more like the life you hoped for!

We want you to arrive at that moment feeling happy with what you chose, and cared for along the way. So much of our work happens in the conversations between those first ideas and the finished home, as we listen to what matters to you, talk through the things you’re unsure about, and help you see it all coming together.

It’s a privilege to be invited into that process, and a joy to hear you say, “This feels like us.”

We spend so much of our time imagining how a space will feel when people gather in it. Now, we get to welcome you into ours!

Join us for an open house at our new downtown studio, with treats from @goodmanbakesroc , wine from @livingrootswine , beer from @strangebirdbeer , and a few thoughtful touches from our friends @suzannekumarceramics and @arenasforlife

Some places feel like a natural next chapter.

For us, it was the history, the architecture, and the creative spirit of this little stretch of East Avenue. Our new downtown office sits beside The Little Theatre and Goodman Bakes, among so many places and people we already love.

We’re excited to settle in, get to know our neighbors, and make this beautiful space our own while honoring what came before us.

There’s a story here, and we’re happy to be part of it! Our first blog post is live today, sharing the history behind our new home. Read it at the link in our bio📰 by @swellhouseco
