D.S. & Durga Leatherize and Debaser fragrance review. 👃🏽🔥

I started with Leatherize, and my nose immediately picked up something that smelled like vetiver, even though vetiver is not one of the listed notes.

Leatherize notes: butterscotch leather, cistus, cubeb, pale orris, cypriol, saffron, vegan castoreum, myrrh, and cade.

Then I moved on to Debaser, one of @dsanddurga’s most recognizable niche fragrances.

Debaser notes: bergamot, green leaf, pear stem, fig, coconut milk, iris, blond woods, tonka bean, and moss.

I’m from Brooklyn, NY too, so it’s only right that I show love to a Brooklyn fragrance house doing its thing.

Have you tried Leatherize or Debaser? Which D.S. & Durga fragrance should I review next?

I usually don’t do birthday posts, but this year hit different. 🥂

Allah gave me the greatest gift I could ever ask for…my daughter. 🤲🏾❤️ Nothing I could unwrap, buy, or accomplish could top the blessing of becoming her father. Alhamdulillah for another year of life and a whole new reason to live it with purpose.

To my wife, thank you for always standing beside me, supporting me, and making sure this birthday was one to remember. You really put this whole dinner together and made the night special. I love and appreciate you more than words can say. ❤️

Big thank you to @mastrosofficial and @mastros_bh for hosting one of the best birthday dinners I’ve had. The hospitality, the food, the atmosphere, everything was on point. 🥩🥂

Another trip around the sun, but this one feels different. I’m not just celebrating another year of my life… I’m celebrating the year that gave my life a whole new meaning.

Alhamdulillah 🤲🏾🎂♍️ Sept 8th

We showed up. We stood together. And we stood our ground. ☪️

Yesterday, my brothers and I came together at our Islamic Center—not looking for confrontation, but prepared to defend ourselves, our community, and our right to worship in peace.

When @eoinrichard came attempting to cause a disturbance, we refused to be intimidated or provoked. We remained UNITED, DISCIPLINED, and UNAFRAID.

There is a difference between seeking violence and refusing to be bullied. We came for the latter. ✊🏾

A special thank you to @thats.so_phia for showing up, documenting what actually happened, and giving an honest perspective on the entire situation when it would have been easy for the story to be told differently. 📸

These powerful photos were captured by her as well.

We protect our peace. We protect our community. And when the moment calls for unity—we SHOW UP.

Alhamdulillah. ☪️🤲🏾

God has blessed us with more than we could have ever imagined.

From husband and wife… to mom and dad.

Every heartbeat has been a reminder that His timing is always perfect. Alhamdulillah for this beautiful journey. 🤍

Just picked up Blackout by @realcandaceowens . 📚

One thing I’ve been questioning is why so many Black Americans automatically identify as Democrats without ever taking the time to study both sides of the political spectrum. I don’t believe anyone should inherit a political party…we should earn our opinions through research, history, and open debate.

Whether I end up agreeing with Candace Owens or not, I’m willing to read the arguments for myself instead of letting someone else tell me what to think.

Blackout argues that many Democratic Party policies have harmed rather than helped Black Americans and encourages readers to embrace personal responsibility, economic independence, and political independence. It’s a perspective that has sparked a lot of debate since its release.

I’m reading this with an open mind. The goal isn’t to blindly switch sides…it’s to understand the facts, challenge my own assumptions, and make informed decisions. @candaceoshow

If you’ve actually read the book, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s keep the conversation respectful. #CandaceOwens #BlackoutBook #ThinkForYourself #PoliticalIndependence #ReadMoreLearnMore by @swiggageovanni

The fact that children have to walk past drug needles and open drug use on their way to school is unacceptable. This is not politics. This is public safety, public health, and basic human dignity.

149th and Melrose in the Bronx has become a symbol of what happens when communities are ignored for too long. Families, business owners, and residents deserve clean streets, safe sidewalks, and protection for their children. Instead, people are forced to witness open-air drug use in broad daylight.

This is bigger than one block. People need treatment, mental health support, housing, and real enforcement that protects the community while helping those suffering from addiction. Moving the problem one street over is not a solution.

The Bronx deserves better.
The children deserve better.
New Yorkers deserve better. by @swiggageovanni

Most people don’t fail because they lack motivation.
They fail because they lack structure.
I built a system-based book series that breaks everything down into execution, discipline, and real-world income structure.
Not theory. Not inspiration. Just what actually works when you repeat it daily.

BOOK SERIES OVERVIEW:
PART 1 — WHY PEOPLE STAY STUCK
The Problem Is Structure, Not Motivation
What “No Target” Actually Looks Like in Real Life
PART 2 — BUILDING THE SYSTEM
Defining a Real Income Target
The Reverse Engineering Method
Converting Targets Into Daily Actions
Building the Daily Execution Routine
Tracking Output, Not Activity
PART 3 — WHERE SYSTEMS FAIL
Why Most Plans Collapse
Adjust Without Quitting
PART 4 — MASTER LEVEL EXECUTION
Discipline Is the System
Proof Through Repetition
FINAL SECTION
You Are Now Operating With Structure

This is built for young teens, young adults, and grown adults who are done starting over and ready to actually build something consistent.
If you haven’t read Volume 1 yet, start there first.
Volume 2 is where the system is built. @cthagod can I send you the manuscript. I need ya advice & council

Back with another food review.

Tried the Lillie Frozen Yogurt pop-up inside Layla Bagels in Beverly Hills. The line was crazy so I had to see what the hype was about.

This pop-up only runs on Saturdays from 6pm to 10pm.

Location
Layla Bagels
233 S. Beverly Dr
Beverly Hills, CA 90212

The yogurt is a simple tart base and you build it with toppings.

Here’s the exact order I got if you want to try it.

Order 1
Simple tart frozen yogurt
Honeycomb
Crispy rice crunchies
Passion fruit honey
Honey oat shortbread

Order 2
Simple tart frozen yogurt
Raspberries
Raspberry sauce
Honeycomb
Honey oat shortbread

Total came out to about $32 for two with toppings.

If you’ve tried it let me know what combo you got.
