WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE OUR NEW ALBUM ‘HUM’ IS COMING OUT ON 19/06/26

≈

The first single ‘Pieces of You’ from our 5th album is being premiered on @bbc6music at 5pm by our friend and radio wave king @huwstephensdj, we are so honoured.

This album was made again with @billryderjones at the helm as a continuation of ‘Big Star’. Whilst being stood at the conduit of birth and departure, I wanted to write something more extroverted and expressive. We wanted to turn the struggle into momentum and make it loud, fuzzy and warm. We are artists making music against all the odds, and we hope to mirror our brotherhood and story with our heaviest, most adventurous, and uplifting album yet. We continue to chase the dream, but now with something deeper at stake.

You can pre order ‘Hum’ via @subcatmusic now from the link in the bio

‘Such a fool’ music video out now.

You see that one kid going wild in the pit? He told me after the show that he came to our Birmingham town hall show back in 2013 when he was even more of a kid, and said “That show made me believe”, and that’s the best thing I’ve ever been told about swim deep - It’s all we’ve ever wanted to leave behind.

‘Such a Fool’ is about missing what’s right infront of your eyes, and if you’re constantly looking back you won’t appreciate what’s real. Your golden age might be right now….and you might have a few to come ≈

Thank you all for a very special tour. It’s an honour to perform music for you all. All I wanna do is turn up and play songs and hope people feel something deeply from it, whether it be joy, sorrow, or sheer youthful abandonment at whatever age. And that seemed to be the way this tour.
Our crowds have changed but always felt the same, and always so full of whatever it is that made me wanna write songs in the first place.
Tour is hard and long - sharing hotel rooms with your bros doesn’t have the same romance and novelty as it did when you’re 19, but there is still something so nice about watching golden eye on the travelodge tv with your mates after all pouring your heart out onstage..
And one more thing I’ve really come to appreciate on this tour was that live music seems to be one of the last forms of art/entertainment that you don’t have to be tethered into the World Wide Web or a screen for you know?… and maybe that’s just the way it’s going but to share a room with people just irl vibing to music was very righteous dude.… I wonder if in the new dawn of ai it will become more important than ever that we have these spaces to feel real in. Step away from the bright light and remind ourselves we are humans on planet earth.

Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow were beautiful gigs and we loved play for you. Glasgow was nuts, we’ve not stop going on about the guy who turned round to the audience mid set and said in the thickest Glaswegian accent “see these bastards here”. The energy was unrivalled and I won’t forget that gig. Next up

Nottingham, Cardiff and London x2. I’m told there’s 10 tix left for each London show and that Cardiff are dragging their heels… well our Swansea supporting guitarist left the band so no it’s a safe space now cardiff x
