Happy Burthday to my baby- Baked Beans aka Buffy Burberry Bennett, she turns 12 yo today! She is the most extraordinary dog from recovering from the car accident she is back to jumping 5-6 feet and playing anywhere adventures lie! Very grateful to have her sweet presence everyday! Today she gets a special celebration from a hike at whitewater to a dog event downtown ps tonight, she will bring joy to all! by @swimmermethod

My mom loved this picture from Jennifer’s wedding with all of our hair in The same “updo”. Please pray for her and my dad and our family at 6 pm tomorrow, Thursday May 21 that angels surround her as she is struggling with fevers and lack of consciousness, and for peace in the coming days with decisions that must be made according to her wishes. Please join us Thursday May 14 at 6 pm as we all pray for my dear mom, Karen Darlene (Darling) Cox. She had a stroke on Sunday, Mother’s Day. She had emergency brain surgery as soon as possible and still remains in an induced coma. She appears to be healing and we have had some encouragement from the latest ct scan and some involuntary resistance movements. They are slowly reducing the meds and we are hoping and praying with all our might that she will regain consciousness and we can help her recover as uncompromised and as fully as possible. Here she is with my dad at their 50th anniversary celebration surrounded by her family. Please help us surround her with love through prayer and meditation at 6 pm and spread the word to any friends or family or church prayer groups, as she has always been a part of many prayer groups and she needs help now.
Please also send any stories about my mom that may have inspired you or made you laugh or just appreciate her in some way. We are reading her the stories and she is responsive, and we believe she is fighting. Help us find her deep strength and reserve to come back to us. Thank you all for your caring and concern and lovely responses and desire to help. It means the world to my dad, who is hanging in there but very shaken, and my whole family, and of course, my lovely mom, who needs prayer more than ever. Feel free to pray freely for her or just speak from the heart. My family will be holding her hands around her bed praying at the same moment and believe in the power that authentic mass consciousness can change lives. Poor little Buffy had a cancerous spindle tumor on her hip that was growing at an alarming rate. She had it removed yesterday and awaiting Dr Pepper’s (that’s her vets name!) call to let us know if it had metastasized…. Praying for the best! We almost lost her 4 years ago with the horrible 4th of July incident/getting hit on the freeway and breaking both back legs, and she has bounced back. Here’s hoping she’s back to normal soon and gets the damn cone of shame off!!! Drake Bennett by @swimmermethod
