As the 2026 @btcc season draws to a close, so too does our contracted involvement as engine partner to @excelr8motorsport , ending a remarkable 17-season run in Britain’s leading touring car championship.

We’re incredibly proud of the performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness our engines have delivered over the years, helping drivers and teams challenge for titles in this highly competitive series.

Since we returned to the BTCC in 2010, Swindon-powered cars have secured four Drivers’ Championships – in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2025 – alongside multiple Manufacturers’, Teams’ and Independents’ titles. 🏆

Right now, we are focussed on supporting partners in Australian Supercars and a growing number of customers with high-performance road-going engines and electronics projects. We’ll continue to keep a close watch on the BTCC and remain open to future opportunities within the championship.

Thank you to everyone in the BTCC paddock for the support, success and unforgettable memories we’ve shared along the way.

From workbench to race weekend, every BTCC engine began its journey in our state-of-the-art engineering facility, where precision, consistency and reliability are built into every unit.

It takes 56 hours to strip, rebuild and prepare a stock engine for competition. Every minute is focused on one thing: giving teams the best possible chance of standing on the top step.

We’ve been a key part of the paddock for an incredible 17 seasons, helping teams extract every last tenth.

Behind each lap and every session is a mountain of data. Our engineers have worked trackside – and at adapted events during COVID-19 – to ensure teams have the insights they need when it matters most.

When the pressure is on, preparation and precision count. Our engineers work alongside BTCC teams throughout the season, delivering technical support wherever it’s needed.

Data. Headset on. Focus locked in. Behind the garages, our engineers continue working through all the details that help turn performance into results.

Small car, big impression!

The 2026 @goodwoodrevival delivered another reminder of what makes historic racing so special - and Nick Swift’s giant-killing Mini was once again taking the fight to cars it has no right, on paper, to be challenging. In Race Two of the St Mary’s Trophy, it even secured an astonishing fourth place and was firmly the crowd favourite!

After the two race results were combined, Nick’s Mini, co-driven by Alex Buncombe, finished sixth overall in a field packed with big-engined Ford Galaxies, Lotus Cortinas and Alfa Romeos.

As well as clearly being powered by the enthusiastic cheers from the grandstands, we are proud to support @swiftuneengineering with the supply of all steel crankshafts for its racing engines – built in Swindon. Congratulations to Nick on another ‘powerful’ performance!
