SWING ☀️ Sunday 5 July • 5PM • CowtownSwing returns for another Sunday dedicated to Brazilian music, vinyl culture, and bringing people together.Over the years, we've proudly created a welcoming space where the Brazilian community and many others come together to dance, connect, and celebrate through music. Throughout Summer 2026, Cowtown has been our home, making these memorable gatherings possible in the heart of Dublin.This Sunday, resident DJ Ortega welcomes Ana Beer to the booth for the very first time. Together they'll play 4 hours of all-vinyl sets, taking you through Samba, Batucada, Bossa Nova, MPB, Boogie Woogie, Latin rhythms, and a beautiful selection of tropical records you'll want to sing and dance along to.Ana Beer is a Dublin-based DJ, record collector, and co-founder of New Tropicalistas. Playing exclusively on vinyl, her sets blend Brazilian classics with reggae, soul, and tropical grooves, making every dancefloor feel like a celebration.🇧🇷 One more reason to stay!From 9pm, we'll be showing Brazil vs Norway in the World Cup 2026. Join us as we get behind Brazil together. Come on, Brazil! 💚💛❤️ Stand with CowtownCowtown is more than a venue. For almost four years, it has transformed a once-empty yard into a thriving community space, supporting local food traders, wellness initiatives, independent culture, and countless community events. During the pandemic, its open-air setting became a vital place for people to reconnect safely.The local council is now seeking to close the space, despite the positive impact it has had on Stoneybatter and the wider Dublin community.If, like us, you believe Cowtown should remain open, please sign their online petition. The next edition of Swing will be hosted by Barebone.Swing is a Brazilian music party celebrating the richness, diversity, and rhythm of Brazil’s musical culture. Blending sounds from samba, MPB, forró, and beyond, Swing creates a vibrant space where tradition meets contemporary dancefloor energy. Focused on cultural exchange and collective celebration, the party invites audiences to experience the many colours of Brazilian music through carefully curated DJs, live performances, and an inclusive atmosphere made for dancing.After a long time away from our decks, we’re excited to welcome back E l ö, spinning Brazilian classics alongside fresh discoveries and hidden gems.E l ö is a Brazilian DJ and music researcher based in Dublin since 2019. Influenced by years of cultural exchange, travel, and deep musical research, E l ö blends Brazilian and Latin rhythms with house, disco, and trance to create vibrant, dancefloor-driven sets. Active in Ireland’s multicultural music scene, E l ö has played at events including Crystal Queer Club, Swing, Morro 16 Samba Bateria, Soul Night, and Cantito.Warming things up for the night is our resident Ortega.Book a table if you’d like, but walk-ins are more than welcome. by @swingfesta
