Social dancing can be magical. I love experimenting and exploring with my friends! This is a doubles dance where my friend is leading not just me, but another follow also…. At the same time! So wonderful to play with John and Sarah at DCSX!

Full Circle Moment ✨

Fun backstory: One of the very first Champion I ever danced with on the social floor was Sarah Van Drake. At the time, I was just a little baby! Only just taller 😜

Fast forward 13 years — just a few😅 — and I get to enter my first ever Champions Jack & Jill. And who do I draw? Sarah.

When I was a kid, doing a push and pass with her made me feel like a rockstar, even tho I probably didnt have any proper technique at the time, I didn’t realize how important that was — but that little moment stuck. It made me love this dance, and it kept me excited and inspired ✨️

Now, to share the floor with her again in Champions… it feels like a full-circle reminder of why I love this dance in the first place and how I want to show up for others.💙
