"They turned him into a rockstar"👨🏼‍🎤
•
•
Every three years we identify "the next great" then inevitably turn on them the moment they don't reach the insurmountable expectations we placed on them in the first place. 🫣
•
•
"five majors" 🖼️
"40 wins" 🏆
"the savior of American golf" 🇺🇸
•
•
Ben Adelberg (@thebackoftherange) drops a gem on how and why that same discourse can be harmful for a player's long-term development 📈

Episode 25 w/ Ben Adelberg (@thebackoftherange) --> OUT NOW 💥
•
•
We hit the quarter-century mark!!! Which means we had to get someone SPECIAL ✨
•
•
Ben Adelberg has single-handedly elevated the way college golf has been covered. Since 2018, Ben has devoted countless hours to covering the best amateurs on the planet. Any player, tournament, or venue that's mattered in the past eight years of Am golf, Ben has been front and center providing commentary, taking photos, and telling stories all in an effort to grow the way Am golf is covered. 🐐
•
•
Ben is an incredible host, mentor, and friend and we couldn't more honored to have him on to close out 2026. 🦒

Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭18‬-‭20‬

•
“... having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious INHERITANCE in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,”

Episode 22 w/ @harrisonssims of @collegegolffellowship --> OUT NOW🚨
•
•
Harrison Sims is just an elite human being 🤌🏼
•
•
After a stellar amateur career, Harrison committed to a Top-40 program (@gobearcatsmgolf) with the hopes of making it to the PGA Tour. As is the case for over 99% of college golfers, those "hopes" for Harrison never materialized😕
•
•
What happens when the single most important piece of your identity suddenly becomes untrue 🤷🏻‍♂️
•
•
In this episode, @jamesfboone_ and Harrison discuss the identity crisis high-level golfers' experience when their games are in question, and how Jesus' love and acceptance can free you from the overwhelming burden of "being in the arena." 🏟️🕊️

...

I'm very grateful for this episode and for Harrison's friendship. A couple of "chance" encounters went in to making this episode a reality and I'm stoked at the finished product. After graduating from UC this past year, Harrison enrolled at @beesondivinity to pursue his Masters of Divinity and has also gone on staff with College Golf Fellowship to serve college golfers in the Birmingham region. What's more? In less than 4 months, my guy is getting married!!
