This started with a vision for our kids… 🧠🏀

Now it’s an award-winning program recognized by the Mott Foundation. 🏆

Swish Mind Lab isn’t just about basketball — it’s about helping our kids build confidence, control their emotions, and grow into strong leaders.

This is what happens when you invest in youth. 💙

This one right here is for the kids. 🧠🏀

Swish Mind Lab is officially a Mott Foundation Centennial Youth Choice Award Winner.

What started as a vision to help our athletes build confidence, emotional control, and leadership is now being recognized in a real way.

This is bigger than basketball — this is about giving our kids the tools to handle life.

Grateful for the opportunity. Proud of our Swish family. 💙

Excuse me while I brag on MY BABY for a minute!! 🥹💙🏀

Yesterday we attended the Mental Huddle Leadership Basketball Camp at University Liggett, and my boy Mendecce Ryder Gibson walked away with the 4th–6th Grade MOST VALUABLE PLAYER award! 🏆🔥

But y’all, it’s what the certificate says that really gets me.

“Making the biggest impact through skill, competitiveness, decision-making, and helping your team succeed.”

THAT PART!! 👏🏼

Because as his mama, I see the work. I see the practices, the training, the frustrations, the growth, and the determination. And as someone who helps coach and develop young athletes, I know there’s so much more to being a great player than putting points on the board.

Watching him compete while his older Swish brothers cheered him on was already a proud moment. But having someone outside our program recognize those qualities in him?! 🥹💙

And of course, I have to give Coach Dre his flowers too! That’s his son AND one of the young athletes he pours countless hours into developing. ❤️

Decce, I hope you never forget that your talent can open doors, but your work ethic, attitude, and character are what will keep them open.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep being YOU!

Mom is SO proud of you, #24!! 💙🏀

THIS RIGHT HERE! 🥹💙🏀

Sometimes it’s not even about what’s happening ON the court, but what’s happening around it!

Today at the Mental Huddle Leadership Camp, my boy DC was competing in the 4th–6th grade 1-on-1 King of the Court, and listen to our older Swish boys cheering him on! 😭💙

Different age groups, same FAMILY!

And to make the day even sweeter, out of FOUR awards given at camp, THREE went home with 810 Swish players! 🏆🔥

🏀 Decce — 4th–6th Grade MVP
🏀 Horace — 7th–8th Grade MVP
🏀 Levi — 7th–8th Grade Leadership Award

As a mama, seeing my own son recognized makes my heart so full. But as someone who pours so much into these kids and this program, seeing THREE of our boys recognized means something entirely different. 🥹

Coach Dre has been putting in WORK with these boys, and moments like this remind us that the work isn’t going unnoticed!

Huge thank you to Mental Huddle and University Liggett for welcoming us and creating this opportunity for these young athletes.

We still have growing to do, on AND off the court, but today was another reminder of what we’re building. 💙

AWW SWISH!! 🏀🔥

Happy Birthday to our very own Mama Swish! 🥳💙🏀

Today we’re celebrating the woman behind so much of what happens around 810 Swish! From the sidelines to the gym, the planning, organizing, encouraging, and everything in between — she’s always finding a way to pour into our kids and our Swish family. 💙

Help us wish Mama Swish a very HAPPY 37th BIRTHDAY! 🎂🥳💙

We hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and a little time to celebrate YOU! You deserve it! ❤️🏀

Happy Birthday, Mama Swish! 💙🎂🏀

He said I was showcasing him too much… but sometimes the people who spend all their time pouring into everybody else deserve their flowers too. 💙🏀

Proud of Coach, proud of what this event stood for, and hoping next time we see even MORE of our community show up. 🫶🏽

Stop the Violence. Show up. Support. Be part of the change. ❤️

Today’s Open Gym hit a little different. 💙🏀

We didn’t have many of our Swish OGs in the gym, but looking around and realizing how many of these kids we’ve seen come back to Open Gym again and again was pretty special.

They don’t all play for Swish. They don’t have to.

Today we added a raffle, shooting contest and giveaways — basketballs, shoes, gear and more — and just let the kids hoop, compete and have FUN.

Watching this turn into something kids in our community genuinely want to keep coming back to is exactly why we keep doing it.

It’s bigger than our team. It’s about the kids. 💙
