A moment stitched from fragments, dreams, memories, echoes of songs we grew up with and feelings we never said aloud.

This piece is for the silent understandings, the warmth behind pain, the closeness without need, the selves we’ve both outgrown and never stopped being.

It’s abstract because the truth is hard to look at directly.
But it’s all here, in the color, in the quiet, in the shift between what was, what is, and what still lingers.

Made with someone in mind, and all the sacred women who shaped me, and the quiet strength of the men too. Really, it’s for all of us.

Before the fields are lit and the Avon Valley comes alive for AKITU, we’re bringing a slice of the festival to Nelson with the official AKITU Pre-Party at East St.

AKITU is Marlborough’s homegrown end-of-harvest outdoor EDM festival, tucked away in the Avon Valley near Blenheim. Now in its second year, it’s a multi-genre gathering with two stages, a buzzing market, food trucks, and an amazing lighting and visuals setup that turns the valley into its own little world.
This night is your first taste of that energy indoors – a Drum & Bass, UKG, and Dubstep/140 showcase designed to introduce the AKITU vibe, build the crew heading to the valley, and shine a spotlight on one of Aotearoa’s rising outdoor festivals.

Come support a homegrown end-of-harvest festival, meet the AKITU crew, and lock in an early taste of what to expect in late April. Round up the crew, grab your tickets, and step into the AKITU energy at East St. 🌙🌾🔊

BUTTERMANS X HIGGY & SWISHA - OASIS TAKEOVER PART ONE

Three Aotearoa artist BULLA, MOOSE & VREDE takeover an outdoor festival stage for three hours inviting two close assassins each 45 minute rotations to aid them through the journey that it was!

Having a stage to yourself for three hours is huge! Discovering the bend between genres, bpms & friends was most definitely found, this was a pure result you see here.

Audio cuts at 9mins for about 1:30mins. Nothing ya can do about it by @swisha.nz
