Earlier this week Brody Heckman passed away at the age of 15. He was someone we always loved to see at the park and had an overwhelming devotion to skateboarding.

There are so many stories that we could share about Brody, but this is how I would like to remember him. His triumphant moment at skate camp.

If you would like to donate something in his memory, Brody’s family has asked anything go towards The Trevor Project. http:/give.thetrevorproject.org and organization Brody felt personally connected. by @switchandsignalskatepark

Come celebrate the life of Nate Horner at the Skate for Nate event tomorrow Sept 20th from 11am-1:30pm. All proceeds from session tickets will go toward @Live4TomorrowToday. We will be joined by many of Nate’s family and friends and there will be some baked goods sold as well as other fund raising initiatives. This event will be open to the public and run like a typical Sunday morning session, but this time it is for a cause near and dear to many of us. We look forward to seeing anyone and everyone who wants to come out and skate to support the mission of a family who lost a son, brother, and member of the skateboarding community. Eleven o’clock AM. See you then. by @switchandsignalskatepark
