I’m excited to share that my new zine ✨Gnar Rolling✨ is now out!!
they will be uploaded to my Etsy - Isa Ybarra Art - on ✨August 15th✨ but you can grab a copy at Brooklyn Quad Comp @brooklynbladecomp or if you see me! 🤠
Gnar Rolling is a brief history on aggressive quad through conversation. I began the project in January for my senior thesis and thought what better way to get information about the formative years of aggressive quad than to talk to skaters and peers! Within the zine there are interviews with
@986_____
@moonsunwitch_
@kianayouwanna
@rollerchicken_
@estyban_
@bruized
@kid.quad
@ladytrample
@mothrask8
@estrojen
I want to thank every skater that is a part of this, and thank you for sharing your stories with me and with everyone that reads Gnar Rolling 🖤 cheers! by @switchblade.dolly

The purpose of these events is to be present, to connect, have fun, and create space for like-minded folks from different cities & places 🤎 Thank you for making it a memorable one, and thank you for welcoming with opening arms for a fourth year in a row of organizing. It was such a pleasure to involve @rollerbabedrea in the organizing process this year as she has so much to offer in our quad community, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this collaboration & friendship will go in future events in quad 💗 We look forward to sharing the skatepark and being on wheels with you again next year!
