According to Bradley Gibson at Film Threat “The production value is better than expected for a low-budget horror film, with startlingly good special effects and solid performances.” In this age of cheap digital effects and AI slop, “Pulp Modern: Hand of Doom” is a reprieve from the laziness of remakes and franchise disappointments. And the practical effects are pretty epic. 5 original cryptid tales. One twisted wraparound story. 71 lean minutes of truly entertaining cinema, with a heavy metal soundtrack. Now streaming on Amazon Prime or Google Play. #newreview #horroranthology #anthologyfilm #nowstreaming #horrorcomedy #creepshow #cryptid #cryptids #werewolf #killerbadgers #demons #zombies #frogmonster #frogmutants #handofdoom #thelemite #nightofthewolf #horroranthologyfilm #practicalsfx #practicaleffects #nightofthewolf taken in Los Angeles, California by @switchblademagazine

Pulp Modern: Hand of Doom, the horror anthology based on the underground pulp mag, now has 3 new reviews on Prime Video. Check out what one viewer had to say: "This was super fun and rare. Reminds me of the tongue and cheek horror films with style. It's a little Sam Remi and Troma films and all around a very nostalgic watch. Multiple stories and styles really elevate this. Definitely recommend."
--Robert Simmons.
Featuring Practical SFX by Matt Barrett, and Aussie outfit Sharp FX. With a classic metal sound from Athens shredders, Thelemite. All cryptid tales. Now streaming on Prime video and Google Play. #horror #cryptid #horroranthology #anthologyfilm #newrelease #sequel #thelemite #heavymetal #heavymetalmusic #nowstreaming #streamingnow #newfilm #basedonfiction #amazonprime #googleplay #horrorcomedy #practicaleffects #1980shorror #classichorrorstyle #zombies #werewolf #frogmonsters #demons #satanicparrot #killerbadgers #pulp #deadendjobs 🤘🤘🤘 taken in Los Angeles, California by @switchblademagazine

gabytheghoul’s “Syn” is now in pre-production. gabbytheghoul isn’t an unreleased Halloween episode of the Sopranos, but the IG handle of screenwriter Gabriela Alicia Morbeck of Wolffnight Productions. A burgeoning creator, Gabby routinely posts about quality horror content. (The best creatives always start out as discerning fans). “Syn” just arrived on IndieGoGo. This is your chance to get involved in a quality production from the ground up. Skippered by Ashland Thomas of Good Candy Films, “Syn” is all about A group of friends that gather for an unforgettable house party. As the night unfolds, a mysterious bottle of tequila is presented which soon becomes the center of a series of chilling and suspenseful events. Crowdfunding is touch-and-go, but this one’s definitely getting made because cute girls always do well with crowdfunding. How do I know? I’ve watched plenty of cute girls do well with crowdfunding. Also, I’m not a cute girl, and have done horribly with crowdfunding. So give this one a push, and help birth a grass-roots horror campaign. It’s the giving season, after all. No AI/CGI in this one (Practical Effects. Just like Pulp Modern: Hand of Doom—now streaming on Amazon) Also, Felissa Rose has a secret role in this one!
