I've been on HRT 1 year now, and I want to reflect. Growing up catholic I was told to be gay was a sin and it took 20+ years to begin to even get over the shame and guilt I internalized as a kid. As I got older I began to drink intensely and seek escapism to bury my traumas. I hated myself and couldn't define why. Only in the past few years as I've chose to manage my drinking, have I realized that when I've smiled the widest was when people said I was pretty. I decided to explore and chase what makes me happiest and that led me to consider HRT. I've discoved that being on estrogen and living a life free from apology has given me the power to stop hating myself like I have for the majority of my life and learn what it means to love myself and my body. I've never felt happier, healthier, or hotter. I want to live again.

Trans healthcare and people are under attack in America and across the world. Bigots and fascists label us as abominations, dangerous, unworthy of tax money. Denial of our existence, right to live, and medication is violence and genocide. Access to HRT for me and countless others literally restored my will to live and currently an Executive Order is written to prevent any federal dollars to be spent on gender affirming care. It's currently already banned in the military. They're working to remove our 2nd ammendment rights and label us as terrorists. They wont stop until we're dead. We can't let that happen.
