my fall hopefuls ⏾⋆.˚🍁🕯️

hi besties, finally a new post after being MIA for a week. i decided to put together all the books, movies/tv shows, and albums that i’m planning to consume this october and november. basically little media bucket list for the next two months 🪄👀🍁

as you know my country doesn’t actually have fall season which is sad honestly. but despite of that, i’ve always wanted to romanticize my life with all things cozy and spooky.

i also added some fall decor to my room this year, so happy i’m finally fully locked in for the Ber Months 🎃🦉🍂˚ ༘ ೀ⋆｡˚

what are you excited for this fall? taken in BOOKSTA by @switharead

⋆.˚ august reading wrap up (+ sept hopefuls) ⋆.˚

hi besties! i know it’s super late for an august wrap up 🥹 but life was so busy this past week. i guess it’s better late than never right🙂‍↕️🫶🏻

i would say august was easily my best reading month so far. i read total 6 books and found multiple five stars which doesn’t happen often

my five star reads 🌟✨ :
✦ the seven year slip
✦ where the wildflowers grow
✦ our perfect storm

my september tbr is kind of transition from summer to fall reads. i really can’t wait to read fall books, but i still have to finish my summer books i have left.

also i’m still obsessed with june snail mail from @thesethose_ . it’s so perfect for capturing all the summer books i’ve read in august 😉🌺☀️

ꕥ jogja diaries ｡˚·𖥸·

hi besties! it’s been like a week since my last trip, so here’s everything i did in yogyakarta (jogja)

this was actually the second time i visiting this city, but on this trip i really explored lots of places with a focus on culture, art, and history. it made me realize that jogja truly carries the beauty that i can’t find anywhere else 🤎

i also discovered charming gift stores and stumbled upon the most adorable coffee shop. for the last part of the trip i explored the southern coast of jogja. which i will be post about soon, BUT you might have seen a glimpse of it in my previous reel hehe 🤭🌊

the perfect beach getaway(+reading update) 𓏸𓈒𓇼𓆉𓈒𓏸

my last destination on this trip was to explore southern Jogja. i was happy that i could stay there for a day. it really felt like hidden paradise with crystal clear blue water and full rocky coastline lining the shore. i absolutely will go back again someday🥺

now let’s talk about my last and my current read

಄ my friend by fredrick backman (4.75🌟) 🌊☁️
this was my first fredrick backmon and i loved it so much. the writing style was so beautiful. honestly this book has been on my shelf for over a year, i really regret why i didn’t pick this up sooner! i always love when books explore deeper topics about friendship bcs it made me feel things. not gonna lie, i was sobbing so hard while read chapter 14 thanks to joar 🥹🫶🏻 he is one of my fav character here, my heart broke reading his perspective through the story

಄ beach read (57%) ☀️🏖️
this is such an interesting romance book. still slowly making may way through, but i’m really enjoying this one. i will be honest with you besties January and Gus already growing on me at this moment. i really can’t wait to read more!🤭

i hope i can finish beach read this week so i can start my fall TBR, which i’m so excited for 😮‍💨🍂🤎 by @switharead

a love letter to july 💌⋆🐇་༘🌺.

july, you were so kind to me and always always be my favorite! turning 28 was filled with reflections, journaling, whimsy things, fresh flowers, read good books, and romanticised my life, so grateful to have spent time with loved ones, enjoyed delicious foods and so many sweet treats. i feel so seen and loved, truly had the best birthday this year 🥺

definitely another slow reading month here. i only finished 4 books in july but i had two five stars and non of them below 4 stars🤭. i couldn’t choose just one but my fav reads were unsteady and no matter what ⭐️✨

for august i have 6 book in total! 3 of them are from my july tbr that i haven’t had chance to read yet, so let’s see if i can really finish them 🥹🫣

& happy august girlies!! salt air season is here, so this time will start living for the hope of it all again. i hope it’s an amazing month for all of us 🌊🐚🤍 by @switharead
