Entering the twilight zone*

Honestly it's hard to find the right words to describe this performance.
It was
Hypnotizing. Stirring. Calming.

Such a cozy recording studio, such a perfect setting.
A special thank you to PhosPhor Visuals for making it extra magical.
I'm so happy I made it there.

A mere few clips from the Warhaus & Julien Libeer concert.

These two old classmates didn't come to play. After the bells rang twice they took the audience on an unforgettable adventure in a stunning church in the heart of Rotterdam.

They evoked some old ghosts with painfully familiar and dear to heart Warhaus songs, with a bold yet careful touch of resilient hands of Julien Libeer on classical piano.

And they presented something new and unreleased, and I felt like I've never heard anything more perfect.

Every bit sounded powerful yet fragile.
It went from straight out wailing to party beats and then back again. I loved every moment.
Such amazing concerts aren't on the list of things I take for granted.

Hopefully the video recording will become available soon.

Another awesome POMME-GRENADE gig!

M's voice going from soft melodies to explosive outbursts is everything.
And that chemistry, I simply can't get enough of it! They bring it every time.
It's the punk music that makes you wanna dance and holler, but also think. I can't recommend it enough (but only to those who like to move it move it😉).

I'm lost for words, only perfection and pure bliss come to mind. There is something about the combination of introspective poetic lyrics and a reminder of where the freaking match is!!🫴 💥

Listening closely to every word, hypnotized by every move, the audience at the iconic Paradiso was blessed by Sivert Høyem's magnetic presence earlier this year.
There, at the church of music, with us he shared a very powerful message and his songs, each more hauntingly beautiful than the other. It was a truly profound experience.
Paradiso looked even more beautiful.

This was my official welcome into the Gunmoll family! On record store day @gunmollmusic played a semi-acoustic gig at @concertorecordstore where they also presented their debut album "Kill Your Darlings". Even in such a minimal setup, they absolutely killed it!

@marathon.ams 🏃‍♀️💨 at last year's Bevrijdingsfestival (Liberation Festival) at @burgerweeshuis
Their noisy energy somehow brought the feeling of unity and I could feel the anxiety crumble.
