I've lived in this state for 30 years and have never been to the Fox Theater, which is insane if you know anything about my love for live performances.

Last night I had a lot of firsts:

-First time sitting in a historic theater
-First time attending a concert alone
-First time seeing a composer (my favorite [and most listened to artist, check the Spotify wrapped receipts] nonetheless)
-First time experiencing a concert with no lyrics

This concert was incredible. At multiple points during the show, you could look around and see people wiping tears, heads and bodies swaying in their seats, and no phones out recording or taking pictures. For two hours we were all immersed, present and transported. The energy at this show was unlike any other live performance I've experienced. I will absolutely be attending more concerts like this.

Some of the coolest people at UNG 😎 The FUSE research period is over, and I've learned so much from this group (namely, take plastic away from birds every chance you get). You're looking at some talented aspiring mathematicians, physicists, biologists, psychologists and linguists here. WHEW ✨ Spring '25 you have been EXHAUSTING but you have been WONDERFUL!

Things I didn't post this semester:

-Nighthawks Tabletop Convention where myself and my goodest of friends @xenkar @sarahthesculptor (along with Ken) became judges of a cosplay contest AFTER painting these super well done miniatures. Gonna pretend like Ken didn't come in at the end, cover his guy in blood and win. Not pictured: @marlowefire1 <-- Shout-out to the group of friends I never expected to cherish quite so deeply. This campaign/friend group is so special and I love y'all. Thanks for always showing up.

-Among the conferences I presented at, I had the opportunity to present at @kennesawstateuniversity for GURP, where I met a few passionate women and was in awe of how beautiful that campus is. Thanks for having me!

-More pictures from Interconnected's launch party. @dia.grammar We're in this together 😂😭 I wouldn't post yours without also posting mine.

-My wonderful fiance hunted down the most delicious gluten free pastries for Valentine's day. He drove to another county for these and I cried when I saw them.

Guess it's finally time to become a donator to PBS. After all those afternoons watching Cyberchase, the mornings watching Clifford teach me about friendship, Mister Rogers about kindness, Molly and Luna teaching me about boundaries, and please let's not forget Reading Rainbow, Between the Lions, Arthur, Curious George, Clifford, Dragon Tales, Wishbone, Zaboomafoo, ZOOM...

I can still hear the little kid's voice saying, "Thank you!"

National Parks, education, and now public access channels?

At least this one we can help fund.
