Spiritual Deposit 34 - Positioned to hear God

Scripture Focus: 1 Samuel 3: 9-10

🔑 - Get Still

🔑 - Get Close

🔑 - Be ready to Obey

Father, quiet our hearts and remove the distractions that keep us from hearing You. Help us draw closer to You and recognize Your voice. Give us the courage to obey when You speak, even when Your direction takes us outside of our comfort zone.
Position us to hear, understand, and follow Your will. Speak, Lord, because Your servants are listening. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏🏾

I need to get back on track and consistent but getting on camera and talking still sucks. Not comfortable being uncomfortable but the work must be done. Every week I dread doing this but I'm reminded its not about me, I'm just the vessel.

Spiritual Deposit 33 - Pain to purpose

Scripture Focus- Ruth 1:16-17

🔑 - Your Pain doesn't cancel God's plan

🔑- Your faithfulness can lead you into your purpose

🔑- God can redeem what you've been through

Father, thank You for reminding us that our pain does not cancel Your purpose. When we don't understand what we're going through, give us the faith to keep moving forward.
Help us, like Ruth, to remain faithful even when the future is uncertain. Take our losses, disappointments, and struggles and use them for Your glory. Lead us into the purpose You have prepared for us. Give us strength for today and faith for tomorrow. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏🏾

So many obstacles and distractions...this was the hardest week trying to complete this task. Every time I started to record something came up. Hopefully it helps someone.

SPIRITUAL DEPOSIT 32 - Find Your Work

Scripture Focus- Nehemiah 4:6 "So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work."

🔑 - Find What God has put in your hands

🔑 - Dont be distracted from your assignment

🔑 - Be faithful with the work God gave you

Prayer 🙏🏾

Thank You for giving each of us a purpose and an assignment. Help us recognize what You have placed in our hands. Give us the courage to begin, the wisdom to know what work is ours, and the discipline to remain faithful.

Remove distractions that keep us from our assignment. Give us strength when the work becomes difficult and faith when we cannot yet see the results.

Help us stop comparing our work to others and focus on what You have called us to do.

Lord, let our gifts serve others, let our work glorify You, and let our lives be a testimony of faithfulness.
When our assignment is complete, may we hear You say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
In Jesus' name, Amen.🙏🏾

Who stood in the gap for you? This weeks topic came because I was thinking about how I wouldn't be where I am if my grandma didn't stand in the gap for me and others. She was the bridge who's prayers always made it to heaven on my behalf.

Spiritual Deposit 31 - Standing in the Gap

Scripture Focus: Ezekiel 22:30

🔑- Standing in the gap means praying for others

🔑 - Standing in the gap means being willing to help

🔑- Standing in the Gap means Standing for truth

The Lord is asking who will stand?

Thank you for calling us to stand in the gap. Give us hearts that care about others, knees that are will to pray, hands that are willing to serve, and courage to stand for our youth.
Make us faithful intercessors and faithful servants. Let our families, churches, and communities be changed because we were willing to stand in the gap.
In Jesus name, Amen 🙏🏾

Commitment to the process. I know a lot of kids don't like working with me because I stress using the weak hand. I don't care if you miss every lay up but you have to attempt to improve during training. Can't be scared to try. No weak hands. The work is never pretty but its a part of the process. #processb4success #weallwegot #swoopsent #itsallwork #biggerthanbasketball by @swoops_hoops2

Progress looks quiet. It’s the late nights, the extra reps, the missed shots, the drills, and the work nobody sees.
Basketball skills aren’t built overnight. Keep showing up. Keep working. Keep growing.
The results will eventually make noise. 💪🏀

I remember growing up and my mom would always say "If you Fail to plan, you plan to Fail" its always stuck with me but reading Proverbs 6 I understand it a lot better now.
I guess she was the wise the ant... @reishalmonique

Spiritual Deposit 27 - Bezalel

Chosen- Filled with Spirit

Exodus 31: 1-5

"See, I have chosen Bezalel... and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills." — Exodus 31:3

🔑 - God Calls people by name

🔑 - God equips those He Calls

🔑 - Your gift builds God's Kingdom

Ask yourself, "Am I using the gifts God has given me to build His Kingdom or just my own?" When we surrender our talents to God, He turns ordinary work into eternal impact.

Be brilliant at the basics. The boring work brings consistent results. The only way we train. Basic right and left hand lays, get some conditioning in, right into spot shooting (make shots while you're tired). #buildthefoundation

I see kids all the time who can do combo moves and step backs but cant make a weak hand lay up, shoot a mid range jumper, or make shots when they are tired. Keep the game simple is the motto.
