“Tahu was the hotheaded yet selfless Toa Mata of Fire, who once resided on Mata Nui during his time as a protector of the island and later became a Toa Nuva after his exposure to Energized Protodermis.” - Sacred Text (Bionicle Wiki)-Growing up I had just a few Bionicle, but I never had Tahu. I was more a Onua, the Toa of Earth, fan. But I greatly enjoyed breaking them down and building monsters and creatures. I actually had more Bohrok and Rahkshi than Matoran. After getting the sought after Tahu fig from the current CMF series, I pondered for a while on how I’d use him for a post. Inspiration hit when watching my daughter play with the Superman mech set. This set (and the other super hero has a giant mech suit type sets) was in many ways the evolution of Bionicle. I figure that if @lego was ever TO BRING BACK BIONICLE it would probably be like this. Cold mountain wind swept across the plateau, carrying with it the unmistakable stench of evil. The leader of the Wrangler Syndicate stepped from the fog, his dark gaze locked instantly onto the ancient shrine from behind his monocle. Behind him, two ruthless grunts flanked his sides, their eyes scanning the clearing for threats. High atop a fluted stone pillar rested the legendary Winged Helmet of the First Master, an artifact forged from a fallen star that the syndicate had come to claim.-#lego #ninja #cowboy #katana #akirakurosawa The two warrior monks, anticipating the intrusion, stepped smoothly into the open and drew their katanas with practiced precision. The syndicate leader gave a low, mocking laugh, raising his metallic hook hand before drawing his own dark blade. “I am here for ze helmet adorned on ziz shrine,” he barked, his sharp tone slicing through the freezing air, “und absolutely nozzing will stand in my vay!” The elder warrior monk tightened his grip on his hilt, his voice echoing with absolute authority. “When you broke your vows to the Eternal Lotus Clan and turned your back on our sacred order, you lost your right to this mountain top and everything it protects, brother.”With a roar of defiance, the syndicate leader lunged forward, his blade flashing in the dim light. The elder monk met the strike dead-on, the ring of their colliding katanas vibrating through the stone floor. “You cannot stop progress, old friend - ze Syndicate offers power ze Grandmaster alvays feared!” the leader snarled, using his hook to try and trap the monk’s guard. The monk easily parried the underhanded maneuver, stepping fluidly into a defensive stance. “The Grandmaster feared what the forbidden shadow arts would do to your soul, and look at you now,” the monk replied calmly, his eyes tracking every desperate, aggressive swing of his corrupted former brother.While the masters traded fierce blows, the two syndicate grunts drew their weapons and lunged toward the young apprentice. The four companions pressed through the woods, bound by a shared contract but driven by entirely different pasts. Leading the march was Eldrin the Pious, a cleric who fled the corruption of the state church to seek true faith. Beside her was Hina Iwi-binder of the Shrouded Isles, a necromancer searching for an ancient relic to raise her sunken homeland. Behind them walked Princess Tomoe, an exiled royal from a far-off empire seeking foreign allies to reclaim her throne, guarded by Sir Courtney, a disgraced knight fighting to restore her family honor.Their trek through forest and hill led them to the rocky foothills, where a common green dragon terrorized the local villages. The beast burst from the forest with a deafening roar, spewing fire, but Eldrin instantly conjured a pacifying spell to slow the dragon down . Hina Iwi-binder seized the opening, summoning a skeletal warrior from the earth to distract the dragon. Princess Tomoe sprinted forward like a flash of silver, precisely slicing the monster’s leg tendons before Sir Courtney leapt, driving her steel blade deep into its chest plate to end the fight.With the dragon slain and the villagers’ gold secured, the exhausted adventurers set up camp for the night. As the fire crackled against the chill, Eldrin polished her staff, Hina quietly tended to the fire. Tomoe sat cross-legged, methodically wiping her katana while her sharp eyes scanned the dark perimeter. Sir Courtney stood guard at the edge. Deep within the woods, three men were hot on their trail. Garrick, a rogue in a white cowboy hat and blue uniform, balanced his cutlass. Beside him, Vane, the quiet archer, kept his heavy bow in hand, and to his right stood Captain Kaelen, a menacing figure in black armor holding a heavy halberd. The men sought to find the warriors. the bounty on the exiled princess was worth far more than a dozen dead dragons.-Created for the @umbasa_lug Retro D&D Challenge. Batman Beyond has always been my Batman.I grew up with the Tim Burton films, and like everyone else I loved Batman: The Animated Series — but there was something different about Terry McGinnis taking up the mantle. An aging Bruce Wayne, Gotham transformed into a neon-lit future, and a successor who wasn’t another Robin trying to live in Bruce’s shadow. It felt new while still carrying the weight of everything that came before it.I was lucky enough to acquire the new Batman Beyond figure by Light Custom (@lightcustom_wz ), purchased through @tom.the.builder . I missed out on the official Terry and Bruce figures, but honestly I think my custom versions fit the atmosphere perfectly. I also put together a Joker inspired by his Batman Beyond appearance to round out the lineup.Hope you enjoy these shots — as well as the direction my account seems to be heading lately. Starfall: Crown of the VoidIn the starless void where reality thins, three ancient beings stood sealed within breathing machines, their bodies sustained by hissing exosuits that pulsed with artificial life. At their center, the leader turned, its face a sphere of swirling blue gas with two red eyes burning inside. Today was the coronation of the Galactic Princess, the moment they would tear open the seams of existence. With a silent command, they sent their avatars, each one a living extension of their will, through fractures in space. Far away, beneath banners and starlight, the Grand Citadel erupted into chaos as one of these avatars descended upon the ceremony. Kaelor Vantrex, clad in a radiant yellow cape, moved instantly, his solar blade igniting as his insectoid war-construct sprang to his side. Together they held the line long enough to pull Princess Elyra Voss from the slaughter, fleeing aboard her royal cruiser while the sky above her kingdom burned under orbital fire.Their escape did not last. The cruiser tore through unstable space before crashing onto a dark, forested world where twisted trees choked out the light. As Vantrex and his construct raised their weapons at movement in the brush, a small, furry goblin emerged, chittering and curious, then cleared its throat and spoke in a deep, composed voice, offering help. Before he could explain, three armored bounty hunters stepped from the shadows, weapons trained in a precise formation. The standoff held for a breath until the lead hunter lifted his visor, recognized the princess, and dropped to one knee, admitting they had taken the contract without knowing the target. He offered their protection and a way off-world, but Elyra refused. Growing up, like a lot of you fellow millennials, Dragon Ball Z was a cornerstone of the after school cartoon block. I recently revisited it and man… I forgot just how good it is. (Dragon Ball Z Kai especially). That rewatch sent me down a rabbit hole from Goku to Sun Wukong, and somehow landed me deep into a Monkie Kid phase. Those sets are seriously slept on.Anyways, here is the Z Team - Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, Krillin, Master Roshi, and Vegeta. Also included is the main villain of the first saga - Frieza. The Exo-Force heads were clutch for getting that anime look across the lineup, and I’m looking forward to seeing @Lego official DBZ set when it drops. The Dragon Ball block continues on Sword Brocks Toonami. The ability to become a Super Saiyan was once considered to be nothing but a legend, as it had not been performed for over one thousand years. Goku achieved the form out of anger over the murder of his best friend Krillin, while Vegeta achieves the form through sheer frustration at his original inability to achieve it, especially when Goku already had.-#dbz #dragonball #lego #goku #vegeta by @sword.bricks

Happy May the 4th ⚔️✨For the next chapter in this fantasy reimagining of the prequels, we move onto Attack of the Clones.Senator Amidala’s wagon is bombed upon arrival, though the true senator survives by disguising herself as a royal guard. Her handmaiden is not so fortunate.In the aftermath, the Master Jedi Wizards meet with Palpatine, and Wizard Kenobi and his apprentice Anakin are assigned to protect her. When Padmé and Anakin reconnect after years apart, it becomes clear that Anakin is still just as smitten as ever.While Anakin and Padmé go into hiding, and enjoy frolicking in the fields, Wizard Master Kenobi has the worst day as he uncovers the existence of a clone knight army and clashes with the bounty hunter Jango Fett, armed with his deadly twin crossbows.Feelings deepen, tensions rise, and Padmé chooses perhaps the worst outfit imaginable to break up with someone.Soon, all paths lead to Geonosis, where chaos erupts.
