Had the pleasure and privilege to be invited to do my LudoSport Form 1 exam today. I'm very glad and proud to announce that I passed the exam and also got "promoted/knighted" to Iniziato!!!🎉

Thanks to @cookierowicz and everyone else from @ludosportnl for teaching me this year and helping me grow as an athlete!

Congratulations to my class mates as they also passed their exam and got promoted as well!

A very special act of awareness at @ludosportnl today! 🧡

Today's class in Utrecht was dedicated to the EDS and HSD Awareness Month! 🦓

All lightsabers used during practice were lit up orange to raise awareness for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders.

Ludosport is an international, official martial art that uses lightsabers in combat. Inspired by the Star Wars movies, Ludosport offers exercise and fun for all ages.

In addition, @ludosportnl stands for inclusivity, and considers it important that the sport is accessible to everyone.

All participants are free to join in a way that feels good for them. There is enough room for adjustments when needed. It felt very special to watch this practice today!

Meet Rory🐈‍⬛🖤🧡🤍

Rory has been with us for 3 weeks now. She is a rescue cat of approximately 5 years old.

She has a really rough past and sets her boundaries really strict because of that. It took some time for her to adjust to her new home and sister Pippa, but she is really trying her best.

Welcoming Rory in our home has already cost me more energy than I thought I even had, but the love she gives back has been all worth it. Having 2 calico cats in the house is not for the weak (fellow cat lovers will know what I mean🤭). They really have me working my butt off, but as long as it works out, I won't be complaining.

We are filled with joy that our paths have crossed and that we can give her that forever home she needed so badly.🤍

We are now a family of 4 again!🥹🐾

WOW! WE DID IT!🤩
Team Zebra crossed the finish line of the City Pier Night Walk!🏅🥳

We started around 17:45 at Malieveld🌳, near the Central Station in The Hague. We walked past the Hofvijver when the sun was already starting to set.🌅 Not long after that we reached the Korzo theater, where a man was playing the violin.🎻 Around 19:00 we were at the first stamp post, where we got a hot chocolate.☕ After resting in the freezing wind🥶, we continued our walk. About an hour later we got a waffle 🧇, and the second stamp, at "Oma Toos", a pancake restaurant at the harbor in Scheveningen. After that, we walked further towards the beach, where we could see the pier and the lighted ferris wheel. 🎡 At the end, we got to visit Legoland, where the highlights of the City were built in Lego. And then, just before 21:30 we crossed the finish line!🥳 We collected our last stamp and participation pin. I also received a big golden medal🏅, made of chocolate, from my lovely fiancé.🥰❤ Swipe through the pics to see my happy face.😂

Unfortunately, this walk was not only happiness.😔 A couple of times along the way, people were making comments about our pace and appearance. People can be so mean, and most of all disrespectful.😓 Why do people always have to bring other people down? What's the point?😐

Participating in a walking event like this was a dream come true!🤍 I worked so hard for this, and I'm grateful I was able to pull it off.😊
A few days prior I struggled with some really bad flare up days😣, so I ended up doing absolutely nothing for 3 days.💤 I believe this helped me to gain as much strength as possible. Now, I'm completely dead.💀 But, if you always keep yourself from doing the things you love, your life will become very small. Recovering from this will be tough, but I can look back happy and proud!🤩

Oh, you know what's also really cool?🙃 Yesterday was International Women's Day!💪🏻
And the cherry🍒 on top: I finished my virtual Mount Everest challenge from @the_conqueror_challenges as well! By crossing the finish line, I reached the peak of Mount Everest.🎉 Can't wait to receive the medal in the mail!📬 taken in Den Haag by @swordofwolfes
