“Alphabet Dates”, the concept: we’ll go eat at a local Edmonton for each letter of the alphabet, in order. We have a plan for most letters, but we’re definitely open to suggestions.We’ve seen a lot of talk in the past week or so, especially, of many downtown restaurants closing their doors. Our intention with these Alphabet Dates is to highlight some local spots that we really like, and, that are less frequently profiled. We know this isn’t going to drastically change anything for any businesses, but maybe it can help send traffic their way. A friend of ours told us about “Alphabet Dates” a while back, thinking we would hate it. We actually really liked the idea and ended up doing it ourselves. It took us a year to finish, and we decided to do it again (with new restaurants), and share online.The concept: we’ll go eat at a local (Edmonton) restaurant for each letter of the alphabet, in order. We have a tentative plan for most letters, but we’re definitely open to suggestions.Bua Thai is one of our favourite neighbourhood (and go-to take out) spots. We got enough food to have leftovers for dinner a second night. proud of this one 🫶🏽🇩🇪woke up on Thursday with a nasty stomach bug that knocked me down for the better part of two days, but thankfully I recovered in time to race. it wasn’t the day I hoped to have, but that’s the motivating part of this sport, more often than not, it won’t go according to plan but you learn a little with each race, and you learn the most from the days that challenge you to dig the deepest.at dinner on Wednesday night, @mikey_kratzer_ said “running doesn’t owe us anything, but we owe it everything” and that couldn’t have been more true this time around 🫂 by @swszabo
