In case you missed it - right after I dropped Life in Color, I had to shift gears to finish our fall paint kit designs so we could share them with other stores. Well, one of them went viral, and I’ve been packing paint kits 12-14 hours a day for the last 2 weeks, and will be for the foreseeable future 😅

That means no new handmade jewelry this month, but we set aside a couple days before things went sideways to plan our curated pieces for the fall and have some amazing new apparel & gifts trickling in all month long at @shopfrederickmade and there’s still plenty of beautiful jewelry pieces to choose from ❤️

Exactly 5 years ago today, me & my handmade jewelry and accessories were hanging out in one of the biggest markets in the country.

As someone who grew up with a lot of health issues, I didn’t think much about my future. I woke up one day and realized I was an adult with a college degree and had to do something with my life. So, I thought of my favorite place, which at the time was Chelsea Market in New York City, and decided I wanted to do something that led me back to there.

I never could have imagined where I would be 5 years later. There have been many beginnings and ends of my journey as a business owner, but this moment was the true “beginning” for me - when my dreams started to become a reality.

I am so proud of where BOTH of my businesses are today, and I’m so grateful for every share, purchase, and supportive comment I’ve had over the last 5 years. There are many more chapters to write 💕 taken in Chelsea Market by @swtassugarcane

Our new collection, life in color, will be out 2 weeks from today 💕

I actually had a collection with the same title almost 6 years ago to this day, in the middle of the pandemic. It was being planned before COVID hit and so many opportunities were on the table, until they weren’t. It felt like a full circle moment to bring the inspiration back from that when so much has transpired over the last 6 years. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on by @swtassugarcane
