What a lovely Dog Day at Sheffield Cathedral! 🚊🐾

We loved meeting all the dogs and sharing travel information with their owners for future journeys onboard Supertram. 🐶

It was wonderful to see our dog calendar, created in partnership with @sheffieldcathedral this summer, now on sale! 📅 We also enjoyed being alongside @supportdogsuk and @guidedogsuk whose amazing dogs train on our trams.

While you're visiting the Cathedral, don't forget to check out the dog-friendly @1554coffeeshop featuring @vickysworld_illustration Sheffield-inspired illustrations on prints, tote bags and more, perfect for gifting!

Thanks to everyone who came to say hello 💙 by @sy_supertram

Last week, we were delighted to win two awards and receive a Highly Commended recognition at the Global Light Rail Awards, alongside light rail operators from around the world.

🥇 Rising Star, celebrating our Surveying Coordinator, Alex Wray, and his journey from apprentice to a valued member of our engineering team.
🥇 Best Customer Initiative, recognising the efforts of our colleagues to support passengers during disruption through face-to-face engagement.
👏 Highly Commended for Most Improved System, recognising how we're using technology to improve planning and support our colleagues.

We were also shortlisted for three other awards:
🌟 Best Environmental & Sustainability Initiative
🌟 Employee of the Year
🌟 Team of the Year

A big thank you to our colleagues for their hard work and dedication, and to you, our customers, for your continued patience and support as we work to keep South Yorkshire moving 🚊 by @sy_supertram

We had a very special visitor at Supertram 🐾

Meet Nya, TransPennine Express’ Pets as Therapy dog, who works alongside her owner Steve to support the wellbeing of customers and colleagues across the railway.

From offering a calming presence during stressful moments to simply giving people the chance to stop for a cuddle and a chat, Nya has become a much-loved member of the team.

We caught up with Steve to find out more about Nya’s role, the difference therapy dogs can make and why supporting wellbeing across public transport is so important.

Thanks to Nya and Steve for coming to see us! 🚋🐶 by @sy_supertram

An absolute pleasure to create this mural for @sy_supertram , celebrating the people behind the service and the values that keep Sheffield moving.

Supertram has been part of the city’s story for decades, connecting communities across Sheffield and becoming a familiar part of everyday life.

Thanks to the team for trusting me with the project.
