sometimes, you get to photograph your choice of cars from Mike WiLL Made-It’s insane vintage collection during a client shoot at @thewxllxm, and it sparks a love of car photography that you never even knew you had. there’s most definitely a story time for this shoot coming one of these days, cause it was one of the coolest and craziest shoot experiences I’ve ever had. taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @syd.hol

“I love the way my ideas flow when I’m not scared.” me shot by me directed by me styled by me alllattttttt, yall know how I get down. this was my 25th birthday shoot last year, but honestly i didn’t quite feel like i was ready to embody this girl yet. for a while, these images felt like footprints from the future. Fr though, my self portrait sessions have always realllly been manifestation sessions in disguise, and the images I make become my refractions, my predictions, my evolutions. new timelines. selves that my soul longed for, long before I recognized… anywayssss, now that we’ve had a lil more time for living and loving and re-membering and becoming and unfolding, many mini incarnations later, she’s arrived, I’ve arrived, we here, etc. I get it now, we constantly forget ourselves just to feel that bliss-filled joy in the moment of remembering, over and over and over again. how sweet it all is.
