I truly am thankful I was able to come back to track (though way late). Tearing my ACL was definitely a life changing experience and even though I went through many difficult times during my recovery, I made it back due to the support of my family, friends, teammates, and coaches. Without all these people in my life, I doubt I would’ve came back as strong as I have and I believe all of my success is attributed to them. I’m very proud of how far I’ve come despite all of the challenges thrown my way and I’m only getting started as a renewed athlete. The work ethic I’ve learned through this recovery journey will continue to propel me to better things and in following the Lords will, I shall succeed in my endeavors in His name. #acl #track #jumper taken in Jefferson City High School by @syd.oc

Past two track meets: PR in 100 (12.87), PR in LJ (17’ 5”), and qualified for all my races in CYC. Can’t wait for my next journey into AAU!!! Also good job to Lauren in the 800, new PR (2:32) in the last video. #track by @syd.oc
