From the little girl who fell in love with volleyball to the senior who got to end her last game as a state champion. 🏆💚 I still can’t believe it’s real. This team, these girls, and this season have meant more to me than words could ever explain. Somewhere along the way, I found my love for the game again the kind of love that reminds you why you started in the first place.
Every practice, every laugh, every tear, every point it all led to this. To standing on that court surrounded by my best friends, realizing that the dream I had since I was little just came true.
Thank you, Newark Catholic Volleyball, for giving me a family, for giving me joy, and for giving me an ending I’ll never forget. 💚 Forever grateful, forever proud, forever a state champ. I’m so happy I’m hanging a banner with my best friends. We did it for Brady💚💚 I love you all💚🏐 #StateChamps #ForeverGreen #NCVolleyball #Family taken in Newark Catholic High School by @syd_gummer
