Emerging Artist Concert – ADF ❤️

We did it!!

I’m grateful to have created a work that sheds light on the realities impacting different communities , particularly police brutality and the injustices tied to ICE. This isn’t just an issue for certain races, it affects EVERYONE , and we need to stand together.

Thank you @alabama_dance_council for selecting my work to be performed at this showcase. Thank you @anagongoraart for the amazing shirts and for bringing my vision to life.
And my girlsss ate DOWN!! I’m so proud of y’all (definitely cried). Turning this piece from 12 minutes into 5, pushing through setbacks, and still showing up strong after only two rehearsals is wild. You all are incredibly talented women—please keep dancing and never let anyone stop you from chasing your dreams. God bless, love y’all 🖤

I’m excited to invite you all to my final Brenau’s Evening of Dance performance,“Shatter”. Come see my senior thesis work, along with works by fellow students and guest artists, as we take the stage on October 30 and November 1 at 7:30 PM, and November 2 at 2:30 PM (Pearce Auditorium).I’m so proud to perform and share my choreography, and I can’t wait to see everyone’s hard work come to life. I had such an amazing time with you all! Thank you for this beautiful opportunity !! I felt both challenged and loved every step of the way.

To the teachers: thank you for helping me grow in the areas where I struggled. Your patience, your willingness to slow things down and break steps apart when I needed it ,it meant everything. Thank you for creating a space where I could be vulnerable while learning, and for letting me explore so many different styles. I truly appreciate each of you, and I hope our paths cross again soon.

To the FEARLESS Yellow Group:
Thank you for creating such a warm, non-judgmental space. Because of that, I felt safe enough to be vulnerable and fully myself. You all hold a special place in my heart. ACDA Southeast Conference 2025 @acda_dance
