The whole weekend, I felt an overpowering feeling of “I am here”
Now looking back, I can testify, that was the Holy Spirit speaking to me. The whole weekend, my response was “I am coming”

I feel overwhelmed with joy, love, gratitude, grace, forgiveness, steadiness, and redemption. Thank you JESUS for the weekend that changed the trajectory of my mind, my heart, and my life moving forward.

6. Six years and it feels like no time has passed, and yet somehow, all of the time has passed. Losing you meant losing my brother, my best friend, and my keeper of all of life’s things. You being gone still feels as uncomfortable, unnatural, and painful as it did the day I found out because life is so drastically different without you in it. It’s strange to exist in a world where my big brother isn’t just hanging around, doing all the big brother things - protecting, teasing, guiding, showing up in that effortless way you always did.
It’s odd, even after all of this time, to not be able to call you when I need to hear your voice or your laugh, or when I just need your presence, steady and silly and unmistakably you. I miss it all.
But more than anything, I miss the moments we won’t get to have—the conversations, the milestones, the simple, everyday mundane things we never knew would mean so much. The potential versions of what life may have looked like after these six years, but instead it’s just me missing you, and I believe it will carry on that way until we meet again. Even if you loved me first, I’ll always love you more bubby 🤍

And if you get the chance, especially if you have a cool big brother, hug them extra for the little sisters that don’t get to hug theirs anymore 🫂 by @syddag
