We switched things up this month with a 3 mile hike in Fremont! It was everyone’s first time on this trail, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Nice and cool for most of the hike, with a little California heat showing up at the end Everyone came prepared with plenty of water, and we loved seeing so many returning faces + meeting some new ones!

Next up: September! 👀 We’re partnering with @horsefeather.pa in Palo Alto for a special Mini Aussie Social with prizes, treats, pup cups & more! 🐶🥂

🎟️ Only 40 tickets available! Grab yours through the link in our bio or head over to @miniaussiesbayarea for all the details.

See you in September! ⭐️🤍

Welcome home, Papa 🐻♥️

One last splash for the summer! ☀️

Throwing it back to August when I had my last swim of the season at Sniffspot! Of course, I had to squeeze in a few more jumps and lots of splashing before calling it a summer!

Big thanks to Sniffspot for all the fun and letting me do what I love most! See ya next summer!

My first Corgi Con!!! 🍑

Am I a Corgi? No. Am I a herding dog with a voluptuous wiggle butt and a lot to say? Absolutely. So naturally, I fit right in.

I finally got to meet puppy @raiderthecorgi for the first time 🥹 made some new Corgi friends, watched the Corgi races, and obviously had to make my presence known everywhere I went.

Safe to say this Aussie had the BEST time with her fellow wiggle butts. I think they can officially adopt me now 🤝

Dog mom here 🙋🏻‍♀️ I seriously got so lucky with a dog who LOVES getting her teeth brushed. The second Sydney sees me pull out her toothbrush and toothpaste, she already knows the routine and is ready.

We’ve been using the C.E.T. Enzymatic toothpaste in poultry flavor since she was about 1 and now at 4, I really feel like staying consistent has paid off. Her breath is SO much better, her teeth stay pretty clean, and even her vet has told me he’s impressed with how good her teeth look for her age 🥹 She gets a little plaque buildup here and there, but nothing crazy.

I’m also very nervous about Sydney ever needing to go under anesthesia for a full dental cleaning, so I try to do what I can at home and stay consistent with her teeth.

And just a little reminder from one dog parent to another: dental health is such an important part of our dogs’ overall health and can be so easy to overlook. Of course, always do your own research and talk to your vet about what’s best for your pup 🤍🦷

Anything I can do to keep my girl healthy and around for as long as possible.

My first time dock diving at @goldenhourk9 - through Dog Dad’s eyes 🎥👀

Apparently Dog Dad thought if he gave me enough pep talks, I would simply launch myself off the dock. I had other priorities… like the Aussie next to me that I obviously needed to be friends with.

I LOVE the water, but jumping off a dock for the first time?? We needed to discuss that first. 😂 I still gave him a few jumps though!!

Watching this back a few months later is even funnier because now I’ll launch myself into a pool with absolutely zero hesitation.

Sydney: 1
Dog Dad: 0

We’ve come a long way!!!
