Chained Saint front man Sean Sterling stands in a unique crossroad of society, toeing the line of where people think he belongs and where he says he fits.

Ronald Gamboa was aboard United Flight 175 with his husband, Daniel, and their 3-year-old son, David. Their plane was hijacked on Sept. 11, 2001 and flown into the World Trade Center South Tower. Lisette Gamboa remembers her uncle’s joyous spirit 25 years after the tragic events. Today we remember those 2,977 victims and their families.

Celebrated my sister’s 31st birthday going to see her favorite artist for the third time! Usher and Chris Brown really shut down the R&B tour with their classic hits + amazing performances. The aunties are tired 💕🖤

No sleep. Bus, club, another club, another club. Plane, next place, no sleep, no fear, nobody believed in me.

Reaffirmed, Reassured and Rejuvenated! I am incredibly grateful for my time at this year’s National Association of Black Journalists conference in Atlanta.

I made invaluable connections with other Black journalists and reconnected with friends I’ve made along the way. I am eager to use the knowledge that I gathered at the ABC News Storytellers Summit and the other sessions to elevate and further my work in the business.

Let’s not let those connections fizzle! Please reach out and let’s chat.

See you in Houston family!

My first Emmys! I didn’t walk away with the hardware *this* time, but I was so elated to be nominated amongst my peers.

Thank you to the incredible team @wave3news for all their hard work and support. Thank you to my sister @kierra_troi for accompanying me! And congratulations to all the winners 🌹

It’s the details!! My sister!

First Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards!

Churchill Downs official bugler! I’ve heard the legendary “Call to the Post” played by him so many times.

This red shawl is one of my favorite finds! Born to be a fashionista, forced to work instead lol. 🌹 taken in Louisville, Kentucky by @sydney_always
